Over 500 young adults recently gathered from across Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky for the largest annual Chi Alpha student training conference. Im thankful for our national, regional, and area leaders who were present at this event and for all who came together to plan a conference that tackled some of todays most relevant topics, including human sexuality, the value of human life, science and Christianity, and racial reconciliation. Our campus director, Linda Seiler (above), was asked to share her personal testimony of Gods transformation power as one of the main conference speakers. Her unashamed proclamation of the true power of the Gospel inspired hope in students who had never told another person about their deepest struggles! I was blessed with the opportunity to pray with students who confessed secret sins in their life for the very first time. In addition to the main speakers, there were over 20 breakout sessions and ongoing tracks that students attended based on their needs and interests. At the end of the conference, one of our students testified to new hope of overcoming a decade of sexual addictions. Please, please pray diligently for Gods protection and power in the lives of students across our region who are believing for continued freedom in delicate areas, and for wisdom and insight in the leaders ministering to each of them.
