GT24/KA24 CCPP

Suited for load balancing energy production

Alstoms KA24 offers low part-load CO2 emissions, unique low-load operation capability and best all-round plant efciency.

The pioneer in fast and exible performance

The KA24 Combined-Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) features the superior GT24 gas turbine offering unrivalled versatility, cost savings, reliability and performance. The latest upgrade of the GT24 gas turbine is the fourth evolutionary development stage since its introduction to the 60 Hz market featuring higher base-load and part-load performance, lower emissions and signicantly lower cost of electricity. With its unique sequential combustion technology, annular combustors and welded rotor design, the GT24 based KA24 advanced-class CCPP for the 60Hz market is particularly suited for load balancing energy production. Furthermore Alstoms innovative online switchable operation mode between performance optimised and maintenance optimised delivers up to 30% more operation time between scheduled inspections, resulting in higher availability and lower maintenance costs.
