Specific problem Significant improvement in speech quality was found near MABELLAH_NEW_3G site . Some improvement in the quality were found around SULTAN_PVT_SCOL_3G site. There was some improvement in the quality near CALDONIAN_COLLG_3G site. The Quality of call were improved in some parts around SEEB_SCHOOL_3G site . An improvement in the Quality was found near AL_KHOD_EAST_3G site and AL_HAYL_3G site. Some improvement in the quality was found between AL_HAYL_3G & KHAMIS_SHOES_3G. The speech quality improved under PAHJA_CENTER_2_3G & MAWALEH_SHAMAL_3G SITES. Some parts between WAVE_COOLANT_3G & WAVE_2_3G SITES. The area under HAYL_TRAIN-INST_3G site has improved little.
Poor Coverage was found between ARB2C & ARB3B and between ARB3A & ARB5A and Between ARB5B & BOV2B.

Omantel 3.5G Poor Quality between BOSHAR_2_3G Site and AMIRAT_HEIGHT1_3G sites. Omantel 3.5G Poor Quality was found between WADI_ADAI_VILL_2_3G and AMERAT4_3G Sites. Poor Coverage was found around BOS1 site. Poor Coverage was found between BOV2A and BOV2B Sectors. Poor Quality Speech Quality was found under BOS1A sector and under BOS1B sector . Poor Quality Speech Quality was found Between BOV2A and BOV2B sectors. Poor Coverage was found under BAWSHER_VILLAGE_3G Site Sector A and B.

Poor Quality of Omantel 3.5G was found far from the Sector A and Sector B of BOUSHER_VILLAGE_3G Site. In the Excellent range, Nawras after UMTS 900 is 21.8% grater than Nawras before UMTS 900 and in Good rate Nawras after UMTS 900 is 22.2% higher than Nawras before UMTS 900 . Coverage was improved on the Madinat Sultan Qaboos Road near Muscat International Airport.

Coverage was improved on the New Express High way Road leading towards Barka from Rusay Ind Area. Coverage was improved on the New Express High way Road leading from Qurum Round about to Rusay Ind Area. Poor Coverage was found near Rysyl_ind_3_3G, Airport_Hieght_2_3G, Airport_Hieght_1_3G .

Nawras UMTS Quality is improved 15.5% compared before the addition of 3rd carrier. Quality was improved on the New Express High way Road leading from Qurum Round about to Rusay Ind Area. Nawras UMTS Speech MOS value remained similar compared to before the addition of 3rd Carrier. An average of 1073.28 kbps was found in Nawras UMTS 900 in HTTP Downlink Mean Throughput.

An average of 149.11 kbps was found in Nawras UMTS 900 in HTTP Uplink Mean Throughput.

In the excellent Coverage range Omantel is 9% higher than Nawras, where as in Good coverage range Omantel is 15% higher than Nawras.

Nawras Poor Coverage was found on the way between Rusyl_Repeater_3G and MT_Mabela_Janub_7_3G Sites. Nawras Poor Coverage was found on the way between Rusyl_Ind_3_3G and Ghala_Sevage_System_1_3G Sites Nawras Poor Coverage was found on the way between Sawha_Roundabout_3G and Airport_Azaiba_3G Sites. In the excellent range Omantel Quality is 15% more than Nawras, where as in Good quality range Omantel is 17% lower than Nawras. Omantel Poor Quality was found in between Seeb_Novotel_3G and Sawha_Roundabout_3G Sites. Omantel Poor Quality was found in between Bareeq_Shatti_3G and Al_Mutawa_Bld_3G Sites.

Omantel UMTS 2100 after 2nd Carrier obtain an Average MOS Value of 3.31 Nawras UMTS 2100 after 2nd Carrier obtain an Average MOS Value of 3.5 Omantel UMTS 2100 is 37% lower than Nawras UMTS 2100 in HTTP Downlink Mean Throughput. Omantel UMTS 2100 is 19% higher than Nawras UMTS 2100 in HTTP Uplink Mean Throughput.

ARB5B & BOV2B : No dominant cell in this area(Terrain Issue), need new sites to enhance coverage in this area in the road ARB3A & ARB5A : In some instances levels are degrading because of terrain issue, need new site to enhance coverage ARB2C & ARB3B: Poor coverage/Quality issue found because of overshooting WDR4B cell & that cell down tilted. But for a small distance rx levels are degradeding due to terrain issue(Not for a long distance) There are some poor coverage spots between AAR4C & AAR4A serving cell areas. Need a site to enhance coverage in this area.

No comments requried This area was recently optimized to provide coverage in the residential areas. Coverage is good in residentail areas

This area was recently optimized to provide coverage in the residential areas, quality is weak due to heavy traffic and one new site "SahamMOI" is under implementation in between these two sites. Also, 2nd carrier will be deployed soon.

In between site Barka_Wali_3G and Barka_Maragh_3G, there is another site "Barka_Eschange_3G". Please check the latest DT plot, coverage is good, small part where coverage is little bit weak is due to no dominant server, that area is more than 1km from both the sites.

Coverage near the site is above 85 dBm

Optimization work is under process in this area

SOHAR_PALACE_3G & SOHAR_UNIVERSITY_3G are not neighbor sites. There is another sites in between these sites. Anyway, quality is poor near Sohar_University_3G due to very haevy PS traffic. 2nd carrier deployment has already been planned in this area. So, better to wait until than.
