1. What factors added weight to your decision and made you stand for the position of Management Body of AIESEC in Ahmedabad? Why do you think you are eligible for this position? The sense of responsibility and the chance to lead by an example also learning under experienced leaders motivates me to apply for management body. It is a opportunity that according to me shouldnt be missed because it shall help me to rise as a small leader helping me going further in my AIESEC journey. I am eligible for this position because I am capable enough to lead a team of few people and learn fast so that I can go further in the AIESEC journey leading more people. I am a fast learner and would want to share the knowledge to all the members under me so that I can lead by an example. 2. List down the roles which you have taken up in AIESEC and the Success, Failures and Learnings you have got. As a new recruit I have not been an important part of the AIESEC in Ahmedabad team and have not taken up any role in the success or the failures. Though I am looking forward to give my part to the team and be a part of its success. In the short period of time Ive learnt few things from The AIESEC Ahmedabad team mainly which of is the dedicated team work of all the team members from the highest hierarchy. 3. List down the conferences you have attended till now and also your outputs of each. I have not attended any conferences till date. Tough I wish to attend them in the near future as soon as possible. 4. How do you think conferences affect your personal development as well as of the Local Chapter? Tough I have not attended any conferences I believe a conference develops team work and coordination amongst the fellow team members and develop a wide network around the country at a personal level which helps one to understand about the different cultures of the country. 5. Define current LC Culture. Critically evaluate three trends which can harm LC in future. The AIESEC in Ahmedabad is recently experiencing a transition phase where the newly elected Local Chapter President and the new EB will take over the previous LCP and EB. The three trends which can harm LC in future are:a.) Weak university relations with exception of PDPU. b.) Lack of knowledge about AIESEC amongst the general public of Ahmedabad. c.) Ignorance and lack of enthusiasm about the AIESEC amongst the people who have any slightest idea about AIESEC in their city and the positive change it wants to bring among the youth population. 6. What are the personal skills or competencies that you wish to develop or enhance within you during your MB term?

As a part of MB I would like to grab the opportunity of leading team and enhance my leadership quality aswell as learning under and experienced team so that I can transfer that knowledge to fellow team members, so as to develop a sense of networking and communication at different hierarchy of an organization.

7. Mention three aspects of your personality (Strengths and weaknesses), which you think may affect your way of working. STRENGTH:a.) Commitment towards the organization and giving justice to the position. b.) Sensibility and adaptability towards a change c.) Ability to coordinate with different people successfully. WEAKNESS:a.) Lack of experience as a leader b.) Lack of knowledge about AIESEC and its organizational working c.) New to the city of Ahmedabad hence less knowledge about the local people, their thinking and their intellect. 8. What is your assessment of the role of Management Body of AIESEC in Ahmedabad in 2012? Analyze the role played by MB till now in LC. The role of management body of AIESEC in Ahmedabad is very critical for the smooth functionality of the organization. The MB provides synergy between the VPs and the team members. They are the leaders in the making which will be responsible for leading the LC in future. They play a role of leading by an example where the share the knowledge about the working of the organization to the fellow members just as I got the knowledge from different TLs. 9. What should be the relationship between the EB and GB? How will you contribute to achieving this relationship? There should be cohesive relation between the EB and GB which can only be possible by the help of a sensible and adaptable Management body. The role of MB stands critical between a good relationship between the EB and the MB. The respect of GB towards MB depends on the respect given by MB to the EB and accepting the decisions made by the EB for the betterment of the LC. 10. What is Leadership according to you? Leadership is a process by which individual influence people to accomplish an objective and direct an organization to make it more cohesive and achieve a common goal. Leadership is an opportunity to an individual which entitles him with power and lots of responsibilities. Leadership is about unlocking the potential of an individual or team or an organization as a whole.

1. Why are you applying for this Portfolio? I am applying to be a part of management of body in OGX portfolio because I believe OGX department is the heart of the organization. AIESEC is all about the amazing exchange it provides to the youth of a country creating a global network. I want a chance to make people experience the AIESEC experience and go on a foreign exchange and create their own global network. This would bring out positive thinking about the LC and AIESEC as whole amongst the population. I want to experience and overcome the challenges this portfolio has to offer and provide my offers to the LC to make it even more successful and strong LC in the country by doing maximum no. of exchanges. 2. MY STORY:I Aniket Gupta is a student of L.D. college of Engineering currently pursuing Electronics and Communication in 1st Semester. I have completed my schooling from Delhi public school,Surat. I am a kind of person who is a tech geek and love science, Tough alone engineering doesnt, Satisfies me. AIESEC in Ahmedabad brought me an opportunity to work as team with the people New to me. Now AIESEC gives me an opportunity to lead a team of my own which I would willingly Accept. I think this as an opportunity to develop my leadership skills and lead by an example for The team members. MY BIG IDEA ABOUT THE PORTFOLIO:My big idea about for this portfolio in Q1 is advertisement of OGX at maximum level and anyway possible so as to make huge number of exchanges in coming future. With making OGX as a successful department it would help the LC to be financially strong. AIESEC heart lies in the Exchanges it provide and OGX is the platform which shall provide the amazing and awesome exchanges. #TimeIsNow.
