About DATAHOUSE
DATAHOUSE started in June 2009 by qualified and experienced accountants, to provide training and consulting services, using Microsoft Excel. DATAHOUSE was later transformed into a practicing firm of accountants and its partners are licensed by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) to provide Audit and Accountancy Services in Uganda. DATAHOUSE strength and success emanates from bringing together the vast individual experience of our partners and keeping abreast with the latest developments and innovations in the accounting profession. DATAHOUSE partners have over 10 years individual post qualification experience with various organisations and business sectors in Uganda and globally. DATAHOUSE has created a niche as a leading provider of Focused Microsoft Excel Training as well as accounting and record keeping solutions, for NGO's and SMEs. We are using our innovation and experience to grow our Audit and Tax consulting services by bringing in tangible value addition for our clients. Our other services which clients can benefit from include; Financial Modelling, Management Reporting, Business Advisory, Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Executive Selection, Grants Management and other Management & Financial training services. Name of consultant Godfrey Kakala FCCA, CPA (U)

Brief Summary GODFREY is a qualified Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants of UK (FCCA), and a Practicing Member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda. He has also attended several financial modeling and advanced Excel trainings and holds certificates in Financial Modeling and advanced Spreadsheet skills. Godfrey has over 15 years of experience in Finance and Audit with various respectable institutions locally and internationally and has served in Finance and Internal audit with various institutions locally and internationally. Godfrey currently runs FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS as a training and consultancy firm in Rwanda, and DATAHOUSE as a CPA practice in Uganda. He is also an independent Consultant specializing in the development of business applications using Microsoft Excel

for various institutions and has instructed several professionals on Microsoft Excel in Uganda and Rwanda. Godfrey has expertise in Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, Budgeting and Financial Modeling, and Risk management with hands on exposure to a wide range of accounting software like SUN systems, SCALA. SAP, PASTEL, SAGE CS3 including his own creation, KLedger. Using this experience, Godfrey has designed several business and financial models for clients in Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, USA and Lesotho. Johnson Semikore B.Com, MBA, CPA (K), CPA (U), PGD - Project Planning and Management Johnson has a wealth of experience in accounting, audit, and taxation gained over a period of more than fifteen years both in Uganda Revenue Authority, KPMG and the Corporate sector. He has a strong background in internal audit, accounting, and tax audit and investigation, due diligence, and financial advisory with considerable experience in systems reviews and tax planning. He has been extensively involved in providing consulting services in a wide range of issues including accounting assistance; review of the accounting and operating systems and the related internal controls; strategic tax planning; training delivery, and tax compliance work that includes preparation and submission of self-assessment returns, and tax computations; and has also been involved in internal audits and tax health checks where he would make appropriate recommendations for management to effectively manage their tax affairs. Sarah Bateta FCCA CPA(U) Sarah is a seasoned finance professional with thorough understanding of the financial and grants management process. She has a thorough understanding of the role of Finance as support function in core business and possess invaluable experience working in both corporate & nonprofit making environments.

John Opondo B.Sc. Econ, MBA (Fin)

John is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant, CIMA and holds B.Sc. (Econ) and MBA (Fin) degrees. John has extensive experience in Book-keeping (manual and computerised), Budgeting, Business Analysis, Credit Control, Treasury Management, Management Reporting, Internal Control Reviews and System implementation gained over a period well in excess of 10 years locally and internationally. Johns comprehension of Financial Statements is extensive, having been involved, as the main person, in three comprehensive close out due diligence exercises. John has developed Excel based tools for Budgeting & Budgetary Control, Management Reporting, Credit Control and Management, Asset Management and Investment Analysis for a number of large Organisations. He has good knowledge of ERP Systems with hands on experience in SUN, SAGE, JDE and QuickBooks covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Inventory, General Ledger and Reporting. He has also been involved in delivering training programs on undergraduate Management, Modelling. John is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification offered by the CFA Institute. and post-graduate courses in and Strategic Financial Microfinance, Book-keeping

Peter Wakyaya Warren BPLM,CIPS Level I

Peter has wide experience in training and consultancy. He has worked with an HR Consultancy firm for over five years in Uganda and Nairobi, Kenya. Peter handles organization training and consultancy in many organizational aspects.
