Overview
TCS GENIVI platform is conceptualized and developed to handle some of the intriguing challenges of building connected Infotainment systems. The platform leverages on the open source community to shorten the development cycle and enables itself to support the fast changing needs of the consumers. OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers can leverage on TCS platform to get a head start into designing & deploying innovative applications with a unique and intuitive HMI. The Platform includes key Solution accelerators such as Telematics Framework, Internet connectivity framework and HMI framework. The platform with its framework components and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) helps to develop applications for Multimedia, Bluetooth, Social Networking, IP Radio, Web browser, Telematics and Cloud Services. It provides nomadic device connectivity over USB/Wi-Fi. The development of user interface for these applications is supported by a comprehensive HMI framework which takes care of the multimodality and the changing trends in HMI.
