AAP AND THE YOUNG INDIA

What India is witnessing since last two months is both inspiring as well as thought provoking. The spectacular performance of AAPaap in delhi legislative assembly elections has brought the interest of people into the political scenario of Iindia.Thethe youth of india who was once considered as political untouchables is now scrutinising the political activites very seriously, mostly through the social media. How the youth of our nation is suddenly awakened.According to some political analysts the AAP is a peaceful and constitutional uprising which resulted due to rampant corruption, large scale unemployment and anti-incumbency towards congress prevailing in the entire nation.Whatever be the reason for rising of AAP one thing is clear that Indians today are very frustrated and gloomy now a days. They are looking for some real change in coming days and they think AAP will bring political renaissance in India. But is AAP the best option for india. If you ask me,it's not. What AAP and it's supporters beleive is that corruption is the root cause of all problems in India. If we could somehow reduce corruption in India then suddenly things will take a u-turn in India. No doubt corruption is a very serious issue for India but it is not the only problem.High inflation and unemployment is the result of low economic growth, bad governance, policy paralysis, vote bank politics, populism etc. .The absence of robust supply chain, lack of cold storage warehouses, low productivity, dilapidated and poor infrastructure, low manufacturing growth rate are some of the reasons for high inflation.Almost half of Indian population is involved in agriculture which is still an unattractive and unpromising employment for rural people and the absence of strong manufacturing and industrial base is hampering the economic development of urban india.Unfortunately AAP has not given its views on these issues and even media is not asking AAP for its vision for India.Their manifesto for delhi legislative assembly elections stressed on providing civil amenities like cheap water and electricity availability,anti-corruption framework etc.. but the manner in which they fulfilled their promises is a matter for debate. Before seeking the result of audit reports of power companies is it appropriate to reduce the power prices. This looks like another populist scheme.Providing subsidies has never been a good idea.It would have been better if power prices are reduced after doing proper auditing, reducing the transmission losses, upgrading the technology of power plants and by making the electricity generation more efficient. What Arvind

Kejriwal did is nothing new.Subsidies, reservation, free laptops are common schemes which are adopted by various political parties from time to time in Indian politics.Prashant Bushan once said in the media that AAP will support the protest against the kudankalam nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadu.If this is the stand of entire party then it will be disastor for india if AAP comes into power in 2014.What india today need are some strong economic reforms, good governance, rapid industrialisation and strong leadership at top level which can take decisions without thinking about the election prospects. The youth of this nation has to understand this.Indian subversion and socialist/communist ideology are the two things which youth has to understand before voting in 2014.The gullible Indian youth is in danger of getting brain-washed by the anti-corruptionsocio movement.India does not need a revolutionary leader but an evolutionary leader in 2014.The developed and strong nations like USA,Russia,Britain,China were built by strong rational leaders, corporate giants, scientists, statesman, not by some activists. If you think that a government run by human right activists, environment activists, journalists will ensure the prosperity of a nation then may be you have to give a second thought. If it would have been so then a hyperpower like USA would not have chosen George Washingtion,Roosevelt,Kennedy,Lincoln as their presidents. It would have been better if AAP have not thought of participating in Indian general elections of 2014.Instead it should work very hard in Delhi, make it a prosperous state so that it can serve as a model state for India and then perhaps in 2019 it shoud come to the national politics. This radical idea of changing India in some days is very dangerous.Lets hope Indian youth will save itself from radicalisation and rhetorics of different political parties and will cast its vote sensibly.
