Proposal A Study to make the expansion plan for Samsung (a Top Electronic organization) and develop its marketing

INTRODUCTION:
Samsung !roup is a South Korean multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul. It comprises numerous subsidiaries and affiliated businesses, most of them united under the Samsung brand, and are the largest South Korean chaebol (business conglomerate). Samsung was founded by Lee yung!chul in "#$% as a trading company. &'er the ne(t three decades the group di'ersified into areas including food processing, te(tiles, insurance, securities and retail. Samsung entered the electronics industry in the late "#)*s and the construction and shipbuilding industries in the mid!"#+*s, these areas would dri'e its subsequent growth. -ollowing Lee.s death in "#%+, Samsung was separated into four business groups / Samsung 0roup, Shinsegae 0roup, 12 0roup and 3ansol 0roup. Samsung has a powerful influence on South Korea.s economic de'elopment, politics, media and culture, and has been a ma?or dri'ing force behind the @Airacle on the 3an =i'er@ Its affiliate companies produce around a fifth of South Korea.s total e(ports. Purpose of the Research:


Samsung electronics is top electronics companies. Its market share is increasing day by day. The demand of Samsung electronics are throughout the world. Our purpose of the study is to select a country which is best for expansion and then using different expansion techniques make a plan to launch Samsung electronics in that country, after that we will also make a marketing plan for Samsung so that people can get aware with it and also it will help us to gain market share quickly. We will check the customer satisfaction and loyalty with Samsung in this pro ect as well.

Scope of the Research:


Scope of our research study is limited to !which country is best for expansion and what expansion strategy it should use".

Objective of the Research:


The ob ecti#e of the research study will be focused on$ %. To examine the SWOT analysis of Samsung. &. To examine customer knowledge and experience in electronic market. '. To make an expansion (lan for Samsung where it is not already operating. ). *ake a marketing (lan for Samsung in target market. +. To check the customer satisfaction and loyalty with Samsung electronics.

Collection of secondary data:


Secondary data is data which will be collected from Samsung users, other than those of a particular research and which has significant, so in the context of this research !rticles" boo#s" i$ter$et" digital librar will be the main source of secondary data, as they laid the strong foundation to the research study.

Collection of Primary Data:


The sources for the collection of primary data are going to be the inter#iews from the sales person and Samsung concerned person which may be formally or informally structured, formally structured questionnaire and personal obser#ation of customers during purchasing decision process.

/esponses from the customers and sales agents will be then analy.ed by using S(SS and excel software0s which will be con#erted in frequencies, percentages, and through which we will be de#eloping pie, bar charts to explain the degree of impact .

The study population will comprise of %11 people who are the ultimate consumers of Samsung electronics. The sample has been drawn from electronic markets located in different geographical areas in Islamabad.
