EOPLE with Fragile X syndrome dont like breaking their routine and their hypersensitivity means noises are amplified by 10 times to their ears. This raises the question as to why Kate and Will Spicer decided to take Tom, their Fragile X brother, on an American road-trip to meet Lars Ulrich, the drummer of heavy metal band Metallica. But this is exactly what they did. The family documented the trip in the film Mission To Lars. In an attempt to reconnect with Tom, his older sister Kate, a journalist from London, decided she would take her brother to meet his rock star hero.
