As a Transport Net!or" Design #ngineer $ou !ill be !or"ing !ithin the RAN & Transmission mplementation team of a managed ser%ices organisation& deli%ering into ma'or mobile operators( )ou !ill ha%e good "no!ledge and e*perience in the design& planning and capacit$ management of transmission / #thernet transport solutions for e%ol%ing mobile operator net!or"s +,-& .-& LT#/ n this role $ou !ill be responsible for test and trial of ne! hard!are & soft!are releases& features and functionalit$ of transport net!or" infrastructure for a ma'or 01 mobile operator2s net!or"( + 3/M3L4 mobile pac"et bac"bone net!or"/ 3lan and e*ecute testing in the customer lab en%ironment and 5OA into the li%e net!or"

Lead on all aspects of 67& 47 and feature testing for the Multi84er%ice Net!or" +M839N/ of a ma'or 01 mobile operator2s net!or"( 7or" !ith design engineers from %arious pro'ects to prepare detailed test plans and success criteria 3repare the lab en%ironment to support planned testing acti%ities :onduct hard!are& soft!are& features and end to end testing of ser%ices on the transport net!or" elements( Manage defects !ith the %endor 3repare detailed lab e*it reports 3lan and prepare 5OA of 67& 47& or feature into the li%e net!or" 4upport operations teams to !ith an$ problems found during introduction of ne! 67 or features into the net!or"& and support the integration of ne! e;uipment or ser%ices( 3romote "no!ledge sharing through presentations& technical briefings & training to other design& planning& deplo$ment and operational teams

At least < $ears rele%ant e*perience in telecoms / RAN / transmission design roles #*cellent !or"ing "no!ledge and e*perience of 3/M3L4 or #thernet transport/transmission technologies as used in ,- / .- mobile operator net!or"s #*perience !or"ing in a lab test en%ironment and !ith 3/M3L4 net!or"s& doing t$pe appro%al and interoperabilit$ tests #*perience !or"ing !ith 6ua!ei :=>?? / 3TN / ATN products and 0,???
