The Supernatural Ways of Royalty Workbook Chapter 11-Royalty is Dying to be Together Generosity The focus of each member of a covenant is, Im in this relationship for what I can give to it, not just what I can receive from itThe mark of true royalty is the ability to lay down our lives in covenant with other for the sake of the kingdom Kris Vallotton

Generosity, the posture of giving, is what characterizes the royal family of God. Significantly, this was one of the first traits expressed among the believes in the early church in Jerusalem: Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. Acts 4:34-35 There is something about the expression of Gods generosity in the outpouring of His Spirit that moves us to respond to Him and other in the same way. When we get in touch with the limitlessness of our Fathers Kingdom and the fact that He has given all of His sons and daughters access to it, it shifts our thinking and priorities so that we begin to show radical, sacrificial generosity. Likewise, when the revelation that God has withheld nothing from us truly penetrates our hearts, the only obvious response will be to do the same. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32 For all things are yours: weather Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come all are yours. 1 Corinthians 3:21-22 God has withheld nothing from us. Thats what our King does, and that is what His sons and daughters do. But true royal generosity, just like true love, humility, and honor, can only flow from the heart: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sow bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

God has made all grace available to us. There is no holding back on His end. But our role as colaborers is to receive this grace and make it available to other. Remember, we are members of one another, and the process by which the Body of Christ grows in maturity involves the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share. Ephesians 4:16 The covenant from God is actually meant to supply what is needed to the joints around you. When we are fulfilling our role of giving, everyone benefits. I believe that generosity is very important to God. Think about it. Papa gave us everything he made; the animals, the water, the land, the sky, outer space, everything. Then he gave us Himself. God, the creator of the universe gave us Himself, to live inside us and help u make the right choices. He gave everything to us, so our response should be to give what we have. The purpose is simply just because it feels right! When I give with a pure heart it fulfills something inside of me. When I get to watch a beggars face light up when I give him a granola bar, or watch my friends face light up when I take her to coffee, or a neighbors face light up when I offer to help them bring their groceries in the house. Something inside me sparks and my heart gets happy. Man, if I could just get it in my head that Christ really paid for everything and God is just waiting to unload all of the wealth of Heaven into our hands to further the Kingdom and to have fun with, I would give a whole lot more without fear of having a bill go unpaid. Jesus, will you please cement that in my heart and mind, that you really do want to give me everything.
