I consider myself a serious and ambitious person, who likes to challenge himself. Since I was 17 years old - when I spent one whole year in New York as an exchange student - I developed a capacity to adapt to different situations and live independently. A keen interest in international living has taken me abroad a second time, last year, when I had an opportunity to study at Leuven University, Belgium, where I worked on my experimental academic thesis on molecular immunology. In addition to a passion for science, I have a strong interest in politics and management-related issues. Whenever there has been a chance, I have tried to play the role of the team leader in group projects and in a variety of other settings. After my graduation in bio-technology, last September, I have undertaken a post-graduate program at ISTUD Business School, focussing on business, entrepreneurship and management in a biomedical and pharmaceutical setting, an important experience that has recently resulted in a position at Novartis Farma S.p.A..
