The MC5720 advanced bike counter is an "in path" piezo strip bike counter, designed to record the speed, direction and volume of bike traffic on bike paths. Reference: 5720P Call Solution Specialist More info
Piezoelectric sensors detect axles by responding to the momentary changes in pavement stress as vehicles pass. With bicycles, however, these stresses are extremely small. Nevertheless, MetroCount has developed proprietary techniques and algorithms to detect and process these tiny signals, enabling the MC5720 to consistently deliver high quality data and achieve the ultimate accuracy for bicycle monitoring.
MTE can display the analysed bicycle data in an almost endless variety of presentations and formats. These range from lists of individual bicycles to aggregated graphs showing long-term flow patterns. Data can be easily exported as text, or in database or spreadsheet formats.
