12th IEEE International NEWCAS conference June 22 - 25, 2014, Trois-Rivires Canada

The 12th IEEE International NEWCAS Conference will be held in Trois-Rivires, Canada, during the week of June 22 25, 2014 at the Trois-Rivires Delta Hotel. It will encompass a wide range of special sessions and keynote talks given by prominent experts covering key areas of research in microsystems in order to provide all attendees a unique forum for the exchange of ideas and results. The program of the conference will be tailored to reflect the wide spectrum of topics and research interest shared by researchers in this field.
The topics include, but are not limited to: Analog circuit design Biomedical circuits & systems Digital and mixed-signal circuit design Digital signal processing EDA and CAD tools Embedded and control systems Harvesting / Scavenging Energy Imaging & image sensors Low-Power circuits & systems Microsystems, sensors and actuators Packaging, Test and verification Parallel computer architecture and memories Wireless communication, RF circuits and systems

THE VENUE Located halfway between Montral and Qubec City, Trois-Rivires is a vibrant harbour city, nestled between the St. Lawrence and the Saint-Maurice rivers. Second oldest French city to be founded in North America, the city is very proud of its historic quarter where museums, art galleries and boutiques celebrate over three hundred years of history. The best way to discover its strong and prosperous industrial history, along with its cultural and economic diversity, is to take one of the fascinating walking tours, and dont forget the exciting festivals and events. Infused with a spirit of youth and renewal, Trois-Rivires has a lot to say SUBMISSION The submission procedure for abstracts, proposals for tutorials, special sessions and exhibits will be found on the conference website and must follow the guidelines and template given. Complete 4-page papers (in standard IEEE double-column format), including title, authors' names, affiliations and e-mail addresses, as well as a short abstract are required. Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format through the websites. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. AUTHORS SCHEDULE Deadline for tutorials proposal: February 21, 2014 Deadline for special sessions proposal: January 18, 2014 Deadline for full paper submission: February 21, 2014 Notification of acceptance: April 18, 2014 Deadline for submission of final manuscript: May 16, 2014
