Fall 2009 China Sales Mission & Seminar Series Hangzhou, Wuhan, Qingdao
September 13 18, 2009 Organized by the Evergreen Building Products Association /US-China Build Program and the American Forest & Paper Association. The theme of the half-day seminars is energy efficiency and the use of US green building materials in construction. The state of Idaho will participate in this mission which will visit three of China's growing markets: Hangzhou, Wuhan, and Qingdao. The 8th VietnamWood show will be held in conjunction with Furnitec2009. The two shows are expected to attract more than 16,000 domestic and overseas visitors. Target industries for exhibitors include: woodworking machinery, kiln drying and timber technologies, joinery and molding, furniture, veneer products and machinery. Vietnamese lumber demand: In 2008, Vietnam imported $2.3 million in softwoods from the United States, an increase of 100% from 2007. 2009 Taiwan International Green Industry Show


October 21 24, 2009 The "2009 Taiwan International Green Industry Show" jointly organized by the Expo Union Corporation and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will be held at the Taiwan World Trade Center in Taipei. Who Should Exhibit? All who specialize in renewable energy, non-renewable energy, pollution prevention, recycling, groundwater hydrology and hydraulics, sewerage, geology, coastal and ocean engineering etc. Equipment and technology R&D experts in mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering; material science; manufacturing; tooling etc Marketing and management professionals; consultants in human resource; economic, finance, accounting, business and industrial management; information technology and legal services.

Small Business Administration(SBA) ARC Loans


ARC loans can be used to make payments of principal and interest, in full or in part, on one or more existing, qualifying small business loans for up to six months. ARC loans provide an immediate infusion of capital to small businesses to assist with making payments of principal and interest on existing debt. These loans allow borrowers to redirect cash flow from making loan payments to investing in their businesses, to help sustain the business and retain jobs. ARC loans are interest-free to the borrower, carry a 100 percent guaranty from the SBA to the lender, and require no fees paid to SBA. Loan proceeds are provided over a six-month period and repayment of the ARC loan principal is deferred for 12 months after the last disbursement of the proceeds.
