Welcome to Pre-Kindergarten!

Dear Parents and Caregivers, Welcome to Pre-Kindergarten! I am very excited that I have the opportunity to work with your child and family this year. I am positive that by working together we can make your childs first year in school both rewarding and successful! I would like to begin by sharing a bit about myself. The 2013-14 school year will mark my 9th year of teaching. I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement from UND and plan to begin work on a Masters Degree in K-12 School Counseling through UND this spring. I began my teaching career in Grand Forks as a preschool teacher at Immanuel Christian Childrens Center. I came to Larimore Elementary School in the fall of 2007 and began teaching first grade. I moved to Kindergarten in the fall of 2009 and now have the opportunity to move to Pre-K. I am excited to get back into Preschool and am looking forward to this school year. I will be joined this year by Mrs. Colleen Leake and Mrs. Darlene Holmes. Mrs. Leake will be working with our Special Education students within our classroom. Mrs. Holmes will be working with us throughout our day and helping to make our daily activities successful. I look forward to working with both of these ladies and feel that as a team we will have a productive and successful year. In the following pages, you will find information about your childs classroom and upcoming school year. Please take a moment to read through the welcome packet and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Jen Fuglesten (aka Mrs. F )
