Goa-A land of beaches!

Amongst all the travelers destinations, the one which is most liked by the people are the one with beaches. The beach cities have picturesque beauty. The morning sun and the setting sun provides with panoramic view. All throughout the day, the sun rays playing at the surface of the seas, makes the tourists spell bound. The water sports are bound to give them a high. There is so much to explore in the beach cities, that people are never bored of it, and want to come back again.

There are a number of beach cities which never cease to attract the travelers like Mumbai, Chennai, and Goa etc. The one city with the maximum number of tourists coming all round the year is the city of Goa. This city attracts the international tourists as well. Goa tourism has many transports and accommodations spread throughout the city, which are well maintained. This city has many beautiful churches. These churches are known to be architectural endeavor. The architectural pattern of the city reflects that of the Portuguese style. In fact most part of the city is a permanent residence of the Portuguese. Owing to the churches of the city it is also called as the Rome of the East. Some of the famous churches of the city are the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral Church and The Church of St. Francis of Assisi. The Basilica of Bom Jesus known for the idol of infant Lord Jesus is the World Heritage monument. Then there is the Se Cathedral known for its five sacred golden bells. The church of St. Francis of Assisi is known for its beautiful interior.

This city has many beautiful shrines also. Like the famous temple of Maa Mahalaxmi and the shrine of Lord Mangeshi. There are also beautiful mosques like the Jama Masjid and Safa Masjid which are flocked with devotees during the festival of Id- ul- Fitr.

The most beautiful are the beaches of Goa. The water sports at Goa beaches like parasailing, paragliding, banana boat ride, water surfing are the major attractions of the city. These beaches never cease to amaze the tourists. The Calugnate beach also known as the Queen of beaches is known for the coconut trees and palms which add to the charm of the beach. Then there is the Vagator beach known for being the photographers favorite. The Dona Paula beach is known for the scootering activities. The other beaches of this city are the Majorda beach, Mobor beach, Anjuna beach etc. Each has its own charm and captivates the tourists. There are many wildlife sanctuaries like the Bondla wildlife sanctuary, Cotiago wildlife sanctuary and Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife sanctuary. They have the most beautiful flora and fauna. The various species of wild animals is sure to enchant the tourists. Then there is the Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary which houses a great variety of birds. There are migratory birds in this sanctuary as well. Another enchanting part of the city is the night life. This city has one of the most happening night lives. This is ornate with party at the beaches, resorts, concerts, fashion shows and carnivals. Goa the land of natural beauty is the most unfogetting of all tourist destinations.
