Major accomplishments as the System Engineer Sr. Staff were: Established site readiness for a new INSCOM system by reviewing system requirements, creating site plans, and implementing the plans by helping install and coordinate installation of necessary infrastructure to support the new system. Performed as the site leader to coordinate communications between site government personnel and VA/NJ based contract personnel. Accumulated necessary information to enable other personnel up north to successfully perform their assignments. COMPUTER SCIENCES CORPORATION - Augusta, GA Engineering Leader 04/07/10 08/03/12 Government contractor for the National Security Agency contracted to install the network infrastructure and end user hardware in the newly constructed Whitelaw building at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. Major accomplishments as the Engineering Leader were: Evaluated and engineered a process that greatly saved manpower installation time, clean-up effort, and material shrinkage with estimated savings of well over $200K over the 2 year project lifetime. Reviewed the Technical Task Order documentation and estimated manpower needed to support the multi million dollar contract workload. Reviewed resumes and made engineer hiring recommendations. Created initial site safety plan according to OSHA and Federal government regulations. Provided installation support for network equipment and connections. GENERAL DYNAMICS AIS- Annapolis Junction, MD Lead Systems and Test Engineer 04/26/04 04/06/10 Government contractor for the National Security Agency contracted to create SIGINT systems at Fort Meade, Maryland. Accomplishments as a Lead Engineer at General Dynamics were: Designed systems to provide capabilities according to contracted specifications. Performed trade studies to choose best qualified system components while upholding specification variables. Developed systems by integrating sub-systems, installing software upgrades, creating test procedures, and performing preliminary tests and evaluations to verify the system was working as planned. Used AutoCAD to create and/or modify rack level system drawings and floor plans as system changes were made. Created end user related documentation. Provided logistics support for GFE material shipments when logistics specialist was absent and helped with inventory control audits. Performed site safety inspections as the Site Safety Manager for two years upholding OSHA, state, and federal regulations. Provided resume editing support and BOM calculations as well as review and revision of other documentation for proposals. Assignments as a systems engineer for Harris were: Performed worldwide support of agency related VTC systems. Performed site surveys to establish site needs. Created floor plans and system drawings using AutoCAD and Visio. Installed new system equipment and performed troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment. Created and maintained fielded systems database to document what was installed and provided documentation on how to maintain each system.

NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY Fort Meade, MD Electronic Engineer 11/10/97 01/24/03 Development and Operation Test Engineer / Systems Engineer The National Security Agency (NSA) is a United States government agency that gathers foreign intelligence for use by leaders of the US to keep our nation safe. While working for the NSA as an engineer I performed the following functions: Designed, developed, and tested communications test bed troubleshooting system created to emulate the different capabilities of several different systems installed at foreign locations. Developed and tested communications systems that were installed at worldwide locations. Analyzed system requirements and formulated, executed and documented test procedures which verified the system operation met requirements in response to stated operating conditions. Performed testing to document system behavior when operated outside specified expected inputs. Network Engineer / Network Manager Established and maintained optimum performance of network infrastructure by using a network sniffer to locate and alleviate network problems. Installed new network taps and multi-port connection boxes as necessary. Helped with LAN upgrade planning and installation. Monitored performance of networks with HP Openview Network Node Manager with the help of hardware probes connected to individual office LANs.
