Connecting to the Listen-In Module

The Listen-In Module allows you to contact users and perform a variety of actions, namely to activate Listen-In communication with one or more Substations. Depending on the settings, the procedure may vary. The following instructions will use default values for the system.

Connecting to the Listen-In module directly

1.After the alarm report, you will either connect directly in Listen-In mode with default values or you will need to press [*] before the Response Connection Code Entry Delay (between 10 and 60 seconds as set by the installer) is over to connect. If you connect directly you need to enter a command before the Response Connection Code Entry Delay is over. 2.Select an option from Level 0 or the Listen-In menu. Refer to Table 1 for a complete list of options.

Connecting to the Listen-In module through Call-Back

1.Call the Listen-In modules phone line number, it will pick up on the first ring. 2.Enter [ACCESS CODE] to access Level 0 with default values. 3.Select an option from Level 0 or the Listen-In menu, refer to Table 1 for a complete list of options. When connecting to a module directly after the alarm report, you will not need to enter an access code. With the Call-Back feature, you will need to enter a code in the first 20 seconds. In case of a mistake in the code, you can retry up to two times.
