SITE CONTEXT
The site for Parkway Health Khubchandani Hospital (PKH) is strategically located at Juhu, Andheri West, Mumbai. PKH is part of a large scale development which includes a hospital, a health park, a hotel and commercial complex, a shopping mall and a sports complex, etc. The site is surrounded by vacant land to the north, a proposed sport complex to the south, a proposed Health Park to the east and AAI land to the west. The site can be accessed from the east by a proposed 90-0 road and from the south-west by a subsidiary road. The area for the PKH site is 10,000 sq. mts. N

The towers were studied as complex floating sculptural elements atop a simpler and cleaner podium with minimal material and textural changes.

The final design combines a series of planning studies with the inspiration of the picture window to produce a succession of delicate picture window boxes floating over a terraced podium with graceful, understated detail.
