What is this project?

Its a Windows Phone 7 inspired multifunctional interactive desktop information center based on rainmeter. This suite will turn your desktop into a productive and attractive workarea , delivering only the information you need. very interactive tile gives you information at a glance, and can be easily customi!ed to your needs. "nlike the initial #etro design, $mnimo gives you limitless customi!ation potential, you can customi!e %ust about every aspect of it& $ne of the key features of this pro%ect is that it also happened to predict how Windows ' will look appro(imately ) so you can use it to make your desktop look almost e(actly like the Windows ' start screen with much more customi!ation options.

Installation
Step 1: #ake sure you have *ainmeter +., or higher installed. To download it, click here Step 2: -ouble click on the .etup.rmskin file, it should install everything automatically and you will be greeted by the Intro. /fter installation, select your settings and then the theme0resolution to apply the optimum layout. -on1t worry if your desktop resolution is not included, you can move things around to your liking anyway. If you1re upgrading ) use "P2*/- .rmskin3 it will preserve most of your settings.

The Basics
4ere are some of the basic things you may need to know while using $mnimo. /ll panels are resi!able individually as well as all)at)once using the 5olor 2allery, also each panel can have its own color. 6ou can access the color gallery by clicking the icon under the gallery arrow on your desktop. #ake sure to click apply after any small changes youve made. Tip for wallpapers

Its recommended to use either a .olid color wallpaper, something very dark, or a tinted normal wallpaper. 4owever you can %ust enable the background and use any wallpaper you like. To enable the background : right click any Panel, select WP7;<ackground;bg.ini. 6ou can customi!e some of the aspects of the background like aero blur, color gradients by clicking the settings icon which appears when you move your mouse to the very top right corner of your screen. There is a more customi!able background variant which is resi!able.

Tip for desktop icons

The fact that you will not be able to access your desktop icons might be a deciding factor whether using the fullscreen theme in $mnimo or not. .till, there is a possible workaround for this issue7 =. -ownload .tardock >ences and install it. +. *ight click any empty space on the desktop and close the background ?. 5ustomi!e fences to your liking and drag icons from your desktop to it. @. Aew icons will appear on top left corner, you can drag them to fences

Please note that you don1t have to use the fullscreen theme ) you can simply close the background and move the panels somewhere so they wouldn1t overlap your desktop icons ) that way you can use $mnimo and your desktop icons side by side.
