Brahman is verily auspiciousness absolute, as its mere recollection grants the person freedom from unpleasant experiences and furthers the chain of pleasant experiences.

Brahman is known as auspicious as it is the most beneficial of all attainments; is associated with eternal goodness; and whose recollection leads to fulfillment of all desires.

At the dawn of creation, two sounds Om and Atha emerged vibrating through the throat of Lord Brahma. Hence these two are auspicious in nature.
