The Stegosaurus clumped noisily around. His feet and spiked tail made a very big sound. He liked to eat things that were green. I think hes the best dinosaur Ive ever seen. The dinosaur with a big long neck Looks like he could cause a wreck. The Brontosaurus is long and tall. I dont look like him at all! The dinosaur with the meanest growl From fear makes me scream and howl. The Tyrannosaurus Rex I wouldnt fight. He could eat me in one little bite!

Snowflake Poem
Snowflakes, snowflakes, softly falling from the sky.
(Have the children pretend to be a snowflake floating around the room .)

Snowflakes falling, just passing you by. Snowflakes floating so gracefully. Landing on the ground, so wonderfully.
(Have the children pretend to be snow falling on the ground.)

Snowflakes so cold and crystal white,


(Have the children pretend to be cold laying on the ground.)

I hope they stay on the ground tonight.


(Have the children pretend they are in the snow making snow angels.)

Gingerbread Man Cookies


I am making cookie dough,
(Have the children point to themselves.)

Round and round the beaters go.


(Have the children move their hands in circles.)

Add some flour from a cup,


(Have the children pretend to pour.)

Stir and mix the batter up.


(Have the children pretend to stir.)

Roll them, cut them, nice and neat,


(Have the children pretend to roll and cut out cookies.)

Put them on a cookie sheet.


(Have the children pretend to be placing their cookies on a cookie sheet.)

Bake them, count them, one, two, three,


(Have the children count out three fingers.)

Serve them to my friends with glee.


(Have the children smile and pretend to be giving each other cookies.)

Reindeer, reindeer, reach up high. Reindeer, reindeer, jump to the sky. Reindeer, reindeer, turn around. Reindeer, reindeer, touch the ground. Reindeer, reindeer, run real fast. Reindeer, reindeer, slow at last. Reindeer, reindeer, you cant stay. Reindeer, reindeer, fly away.

Building a Snowman
Lets make a snowman, you and me. Lets make it quickly, one, two, three.

Roll the body, on the ground. Roll the head, tight and sound.
(Have the children point to their body, then to their head.)

Twigs for arms, a carrot for the nose. Coal for eyes, and a hat in case it snows.
(Have the children point to their arm s, nose, and eyes.)

Look at our snowman, big and tall. Making it took no time at all!
(Have the children sm ile and jum p up and down.)

Winter is over and spring is here, Before we know it, summer is near.

Were so glad spring is here!

Birds are singing, their songs fill the air,
