2. How To Signup a Free PayPal Account

1. Click HERE to sign up for a free PayPal account now.



















2. When you are in PayPals page, please click on the button Sign Up Today! as shown on the
above screenshot.

3. You will then be directed to a page that looks like the screenshot shown below and select by
ticking the right type of account that suits you. I would recommend that you choose the
Business Account because you can put your company name and gain more benefits
compared to Personal and Premier Accounts. Please select Malaysia and click Continue




















4. Once you have selected the right account type and the right country, click Continue button.

5. After clicking on the Continue button, youll then be taken to another page (screenshot below)
which requires you to fill in all the details about yourself. I encourage you to fill in your REAL
and LEGIT details as PayPal needs the right information to credit the money to you. You dont
want the money to go elsewhere besides you, right?!























6. Once you are done filling in your REAL particulars, click the green Sign Up button to continue.

7. On the next page, you will see a page that will ask for your Credit or Debit Card particulars to
verify as a Malaysian to be able to use PayPal and withdraw money. If you have a Credit Card,
please fill in your card particulars. Once this is done, PayPal will email you that you have
successfully added a Debit/Credit Card.

*Note: If you do not have a Malaysian Debit/Credit Card, click cancel for now. I will reveal later
in this eBook how you can get a Malaysian Debit/Credit Card to verify your PayPal account.

8. When you are done filling out the particulars, PayPal will mail you a confirmation letter to your
email (the mail that you sign up PayPal with) that you have successfully created a PayPal
account and activating it by clicking the link from your email that they send to you.

3. How to get a Malaysian Debit/Credit Card to Verify your PayPal Account

Skip Chapter 3 if you already have a Malaysian Credit/Debit Card.

As mention in Chapter 2, Item 7, you need to verify your PayPal account with a Debit/Credit Card for
you to be able to use PayPal. Below are the benefits of having your PayPal account verified:

1. You can send unlimited funds
2. You can withdraw money from your PayPal Account.


If you do not get it verified, you will not be able to withdraw money from PayPal and you can only
send a limited amount of money. An unverified PayPal account only allows you to send money (limited)
and buy items.


With that said, lets get started on how to obtain a 100% approved Malaysian Debit/Credit Card for you
to register and verify your PayPal account. There are many banks in Malaysia that offers a Debit
Mastercard, but I personally prefer AmBank NexG Prepaid Mastercard.















1. Go to any 7-11 convenient stores and purchase a AmBank NexG Prepaid Debit/Credit Card.
Its only RM25 (price as of the time this eBook is written)

2. After purchasing the AmBank Mastercard pack, open it and put your signature on the reverse
side of the card.

3. Complete the Registration Form inside this pack and send it along with a copy of your NRIC in
the Postage Paid Reply Envelope provided or fax to 03-2164 0497. You can also go directly to
any AmBank branch to register it personally.
Important Note: Please apply for an Ambank Online Banking too.

4. Wait for a few days for them to call you to verify and confirm activation of the card.

5. Once your card has been confirmed and verified, you can use it immediately by topping-up with
cash at any AmBank branch or merchants where you see the NexG Top-Up Logo. Please
top-Up at least RM50.

UFrequently Asked Questions (AmBank NexGUTUUTU Prepaid Mastercard)

1) What is AmBank NexGTT PrePaid MasterCardTT all about? This is a PrePaid MastercardTT
that you can use to purchase goods just like a credit but with spending limited to the amount
of money you place on the card - like your prepaid phone card.

2) How do I use it? J ust present it to the outlets where MasterCardTT cards are accepted and it
will be inserted into an EDC terminal (credit card terminal) for approval, just like a normal
credit card transaction.

3) Where can I use it? Worldwide where MasterCardTT is accepted for both online and offline
transactions.

4) Who can qualify for this card? Anyone. Unlike a regular credit card, there is no income
qualification.

5) Where and how can I top-up?
Using cash at AmBank Branches:
- Over-The-Counter; or
- Cash Deposit Machines

Top-up centres where you see the NexG Top-up logo
- available from 1 August 2006

Fund transfer (if you have an AmBank account) via ATM or online at www.ambg.com.my

6) How much can I top-up? You can top-up in denominations of RM30, RM50, RM100, RM200
and RM500 at any location you see with NexGTT Top-up logo, via AmBank Cash Deposit
Machines and internet banking. You can reload up to a maximum available balance not
exceeding RM10,000 at anytime given.
TNote: The minimum top-up is RM100 over the counter at AmBank Branches.

7) Can I withdraw cash from the Card? Yes. A PIN will be sent to you upon registration which
will allow you to withdraw cash from any AmBank ATMs at over 170 branches nationwide.

8) How do I keep track of my spending? Your available balance will be featured on your top-
up slips. Statement of Account is available via ambg.com.my

9) What other benefits can I enjoy? Besides the cash-free convenience, you will be rewarded
with bonus points, monthly discounts and other privileges via m-coupon.

10) What happens if I lose my Card? Report loss of card immediately to AmBank at 03-2178
8888.

11) Is there a helpline I can call? Call AmBank Contact Centre (24/7) at 03-2178 8888.

12) Fees and Charges
Starter Pack Price: RM25 per pack
Monthly Fee: RM3 per month - deducted automatically from top-up value
Cash Withdrawal: Zero fee through AMBank ATMs. RM10 or 5% whichever is higher through
the CIRRUS/PLUS network worldwide
Overseas Transactions: Foreign Exchange/Conversion Fee based on 1% of the purchase
value and a Retail Transaction Fee of RM1 per transaction






4. Verifying your PayPal Account with a Malaysian Debit/Credit Card

Okay, now that you have a Debit/Credit Card, on to get your PayPal account verified:

1. Login into your Paypal account using the username and password chosen by you.

2. In your PayPal account overview page, you will notice that your status is Malaysian
Unverified. Click on that link.










3. You will then be directed to a verification page as shown below. Click on Get Verified button.









4. Once youre in the Add Credit or Debit Card page, please fill in all your Debit/Credit Card
particulars. Make sure the billing address is the same as what you registered the card with.
Once finish, click Add Card button and PayPal will send you an email confirming that you have
successfully added a Debit/Credit Card. PayPal charges you a one time fee of $1.95 USD.

5. Now, all you have to do is, wait for your Debit/Credit Card statement to arrive.

6. In the item description section of your next credit card statement, your 4-digit Expanded Number
will be printed next to the $1.95 USD PayPal Expanded Use Fee (example, PayPal
1234*(EXPUSE)). Check your next statement to find your unique Expanded Use Number.

7. Go to https://www.paypal.com/MEM-NUMBER and type in your unique Expanded Use Number.

8. It is best if you can access your credit card statement online, it may take up to 4 business days
or more for your Expanded Use Number to appear. If you don't have online access to your
credit card statement, please wait for your printed statement to arrive in the mail*

*IMPORTANT NOTE: PayPal strongly discourages users from calling their credit card companies in order to
obtain their PayPal Expanded Use Number before receiving their monthly statements in the mail. If PayPal
receives a complaint from Visa, MasterCard, or your card issuer regarding your account, your PayPal account
may be permanently closed.

9. After you have entered your Expanded Use Number, your enrollment will be complete.

10. CONGRATS!!! You now have a VERIFIED PayPaL Account!

U4. Withdrawing Money from PayPal to Malaysia

There are many ways to withdraw your PayPal funds into Malaysia like buying/selling with other PayPal
users which is against PayPals T&C. You can apply for an online Debit Card. You can also apply for a
US HSBC Bank Account and then transfer the money into Malaysia through HSBC Debit card and
more..But in this chapter, I will only recommend one (1) safest method that Im comfortable with and
will explain in detail how to do it so you do not get confused.

UOpening an International Bank Account and Debit/Credit Card (for non US citizens)

E*TRADE Financial

This method is the best method that I am comfortable with as in my opinion, its benefit are far better
than the rest. Below is the reason why I prefer using this and I highly recommend this method to
you:

- Its FAST, FREE and EASY to apply
- FREE VISA Platinum International ATM Debit Card
- FREE ATM withdrawal. No fees for the first year or for a special account holder.
- Non US citizen can apply.
- Checkbook facility
- Transfer PayPal money into E*TRADE account and withdraw from E*TRADE Debit Card
Worldwide.
- Online Banking and more..


Great bank, dont you agree?! Okay, lets get started on how to apply for an E*TRADE account.

I. First, open up the forms folder that came with this eBook. If you do not have the forms that
came with this eBook, please HTUCLICK HEREUTH to register and download the forms. Or you

II. Once you have unzipped the forms folder, please open Brokerage Account Kit.pdf first.

III. Fill up the form as follows:


1. Choose Your Account Type

2. Enter your Account Holder Information
Fill in the Primary Account Holder section ONLY.
Fill in your VALID details
For the 3 questions area below City, State & Zip, please tick NO to all three.
In the Passport Number section, enter your NIRC/MYKAD number
In the Passport Country of Issuance and Country of Legal Residence, key in
Malaysia


3. Create Your Investment Profile
Tick Capital Preservation
Fill in the rest as you deem fit


4. Select Your Account Features
In Taxable Income, tick on the second box

In Cash Management Features, please tick the two boxes.


5. Fund Your Account
Tick on the I plan to wire funds from another financial institution.


6. Sign and Date Your Application
Tick on Im not a US person.
Signature and Date
In the Printed Name, write down the name that you want on your Platinum
Card.

DONE! Next we move on to fill up the second form which is the W-8BEN form.


1. Identification of Beneficial Owner
Write down your full name
In the Type of beneficial owner, tick Individual
Fill in your personal address details.


2. Claims of Tax Treaty Benefit
Tick box a and type in Malaysia on the doted line.


3. Notional Principle Contracts
Tick on box number 11.


4. Certification
Sign on the dotted line and fill in the date
In Capacity in which acting, please write Individual

DONE! Now you need to photocopy your MYKAD Identification Card and attach it together
with the forms (3 pages of Brokerage Form & 1 page of W-8BEN Form) and mail it to:

IMPORTANT UPDATE AS OF JULY 2007:
Recently, Etrade has directed all new applications to HK Asia Pacific office to process all
Asian application and this method cant be used if they did that. Some have tried sending
to US office and got their application approved in US and some applications were sent to
HK. Whatever it is, itll all depend on your luck if you get itSo, I suggest that you try
mailing this to US office below and try you luck if you will be given a US address or not.

IV. Depending on your choice of mailing and where you are mailing from, your E*TRADE
account particulars will be mailed to you within a time frame of 30 Days.

V. Once it arrives, you should have Two (2) letters. One letter is your Account Login
Information. The next letter will be your Account Login Password. J ust follow the
instruction in the letters.

VI. Login to your online E*TRADE account and apply for your FREE VISA Platinum Card to
be delivered to you.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
- At the moment, your online account has limited access with only the standard features. To
be able to view your online account balance, account statements and use the full online
features, please photocopy your Malaysian Identity card and fax it over to +678 624 8465.
Before faxing, make sure you write down your 8 digit e*Trade account number on the top
page of your photocopy.

- Before getting the FREE VISA Platinum International ATM Debit Card, you have to
have at least $25 USD in your E*TRADE Account. Try to buy or debit in the money into
your PayPal Account and then transfer the money into E*TRADE Account.

I will show you in the next chapter below on how to link/transfer your PayPal money to
E*TRADE.

4. How to Transfer your PayPal Money into E*TRADE

In order for you to transfer your PayPal money into Malaysia, you have to first transfer your PayPal
funds into E*TRADE and then only you can withdraw money in Malaysia with E*TRADE Platinum Debit
Card.

1. Login into your Paypal account and click on the Withdraw button located on the top as shown
below. Click on the Transfer funds to your bank account.

















2. Fill in the form as shown in RED below and click Continue.



























3. That it! Congrats! Now you can transfer your PayPal funds into E*TRADE and withdraw money
through your E*TRADE Platinum Debit Card in Malaysia.
