Procedure A. Preparation 1. Prayer, Greetings and Checking of Attendance 2. Drill: Kids of output hardware 3. Review the previous lesson (a) What are the examples of hardcopy outputs? (b) What are the examples of softcopy outputs?

B. Presentation 1. Motivation 2. Raised up question How do you see our world without those modern technologies?

3. Lesson Proper Communication hardware are commonly used in business applications. This includes modems fax, fax, multiplier, concentrator and front-head processor. Modem is a contraction of modulate and demodulate. A modems basic purposes is to convert digital computer signals to analog signals for transmission over phone lines, then receive these signals and convert them back to digital signals. A modem allows the users to directly connect to the telephone line. Fax modem enables you to send data and scanned images directly from your computer to someone elses fax machine or fax modem. Multiplexer is a device that merges several low-speed transmission into one high speed transmission. Concentrator is a piece of hardware that enables several devices to share a single communication lines. Front head processor is a smaller computer that is connected to a larger computer and assists with communication functions.
