What You Need To Know


Tuition & Fees
WBDD courses have varying tuition and fees. In most cases, books are included in the tuition price. Students may pay by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or purchase order. An additional $5 parking/technology fee is assessed at registration. Tuition is subject to change. Call 593-9954, ext. 1230 to conrm course prices.

Registration Is Easy!

ur courses are open to everyone and can ll quickly! To register, you must be at least 16 years of age or have written permission from a parent or guardian. We recommend you register early. This helps ensure your place in the course and allows us ample time to order any textbooks or materials your course may require.

Funding may be available for qualified applicants through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Contact the One Stop Career Center at (803) 593-9954, ext. 1283.

Refund and Cancellation Policy


All students withdrawing from a course or transferring to another course must notify WBDD 24 hours before the course begins. Students withdrawing from a course the day before the course begins will receive an 85% refund of the course fee. No refunds will be given after the course begins.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)


CEUs are awarded to students who successfully complete our courses. CEUs are recognized nationally and are dened as 10 contact hours of class participation in an organized continuing education program. Certicates are available for a fee for students earning an S (satisfactory) in any occupational advancement class, and must be requested within 30 days of completion of class requirements.

Health Care
Allied Health Care
Our health care graduates work in hospitals, health care centers, clinics, nursing homes, medical laboratories, blood banks and private homes. Note: Prior to clinical training, health students will be required to submit to a background check. Some courses also require current immunization records to include: MMR, Varicella, PPD, tetanus, and Hepatitis-B (fees for immunizations are not included with tuition). Seasonal flu shots may also be required. Clinical hours for CNA, Phlebotomy Technician, Hospital Unit Clerk, ECG Technician, MultiSkilled Technician, Veterinary Assistant and Ophthalmic Assistant: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CPR for Healthcare Providers (AHA) Learn adult, child and infant one- and two-person CPR. Course is required for all healthcare workers, students, and others who work in health care settings. Textbook is included in the tuition. (8 hours)
