POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT AT IIM KASHIPUR

The institute follows a blend of lecture and case based methodology that encourages discussion amongst students and faculty which brings in diverse perspective for providing solutions to real world business situations. The Post Graduate Programme in Management is a two year full time residential programme equivalent to an MBA. The rigorous curriculum seeks to instil a passion for knowledge and ability to apply that knowledge to real life scenarios. The programme lays emphasis on all-round personality development and inculcates the values of leadership and integrity. The institute also boasts of being located in one of the densest industrialized regions in the country with over 180 industries having set up their plants in and around the region and many more lining up. This places the institute at a vantage point when it comes to 'Learning by Doing' via frequent industry interactions and live projects. COURSE STRUCTURE First Year Term-I (June: September): 7 Credits Term-II (October: December): 7 Credits Term-III (January: March): 6 Credits Summer Internship (8 weeks) (April - June) Second Year Term-IV (June- September): 5 - 6 Credits Term-V (October: December): 5 - 6 Credits Term-VI (January- March): 3 - 5 Credits A full credit course requires class interaction of 30 hours. Apart from a set of Core Courses, the participants are free to choose any combinations of electives from different academic areas like Marketing, Finance and Accounting, OB & HR, Operations and Decision Sciences, Economics, Strategy, Communications and General Management. ELIGIBILITY First class graduate degree with 10+2+3 years of education and valid GMAT Score.
