The HASP ,e"ice ,ri"er loads dynamically under 3indo$s 9:/98/M5 i! it has not been pre"iously installed on the computer% A!ter HASP ,e"ice ,ri"er installation' HASP applications re6uire that you reboot your system Aone time only per stationB% The HASP ,e"ice ,ri"er loads dynamically as soon as the HASP is accessed !ollo$in the system reboot% I! you install an up raded "ersion o! the HASP ,e"ice ,ri"er a!ter runnin a HASP.protected application' you must reboot your system in order !or the ne$ dri"er "ersion to load dynamically%

(o reboot is re6uired i! the de"ice dri"er is installed or updated on 3indo$s (T4 or 3indo$s ;000% (etHASP Installation and 2on!i uration ................................................... Cnder T2P/IP the (etHASP system uses a C,P broadcast mechanism to automate the search !or the (etHASP 8icense Mana er% That is' the (etHASP client broadcasts' $hile all T2P/IP acti"e (etHASP 8icense Mana ers listen in% The !irst one to ans$er the client' enablin a (etHASP lo in' pro"ides the (etHASP ser"ices% 3ith the automatic search under T2P/IP' (etHASP clients cannot access (etHASP 8icense Mana ers $hich are located in other subnets or on the Internet% To cross subnets/Internet you need to customi4e the search mechanism% Automatic Search Cnder (et*ios ..........................................
