! "afety Guidance !#! Introduction $or the "afe Operation The CMS2003 1ltrasonic .etal Doppler Monitor 4Monitor5 is Class , e%uipment and designed to comply "ith ,$C 60607)7. S"itching "ithin 7 minute, at am!ient temperatures !et"een 5 and 80 . 'm!ient temperatures that e(ceed these limits could a ect the accuracy o the instrument and cause damage to the modules and circuits. 'llo" at least 2 inches 49cm5 clearance around the instrument or proper air circulation. The user must chec- the e%uipment, ca!les and transducers do not ha+e +isi!le e+idence o damage that may a ect patient sa ety or monitoring capa!ility !e ore use. The recommended inspection inter+al is once per "ee- or less. , damage is e+idence, replacement is recommended !e ore use.
