Assembly for convergence adapter The classic combination. The adapters will be either attached to the reinforcement or drilled and glued to the assembly. As an option we also deliver protection rings against blasting for the convergence adapters.

Assembly on steel structures with welding or magnet adapters For assembly on steel structures: welding adapters offer a higher positional stability of marked points but require more effort to assemble.

Assembly on wall adapters with M8 female thread For assembly on completed tunnel walls or other walls the adapters for anchor assemblies are very convenient and efficient.

PRISMS FOR DEFORMATION SURVEYS

Low priced, precise, well-proven
GOECKE reflex-targets with holder have been proved in value for 13 years. These targets were utilized for a variety of different tasks especially for deformations surveys on tunnel construction sites all over the world. 46-BRT Unlike standard-reflex-targets the foil carrier with a centrical drill hole can be rotated spherically and therefore can be turned ideally in any target direction. Reflex-deprivation and inaccuracy of angular penetrated EDM-radiation are avoided. Distances between 10m and 150m can be measured without difficulty yet precisely in any tunnel conditions (dust, humidity, and so on). As reference total stations we utilized Leica instruments. It is made of galvanized-zinc coated concrete steel with fixed crank (12mm LEICA-adapter). These items represent excellent value as no additional adapter is necessary. However item No 5 KB with appropriate adapter is the most durable and long lasting solution.

FIXED INSTRUMENT SETUPS FOR PILLARS

Pillar plates from GOECKE have a 30 year proven track record of outstanding performance on challenging construction sites, in tunnels, bridges and other civil engineering structures. They assure the highest accuracy for precise positioning of instruments with tolerances less than 1/10 of a millimeter. Besides the high precision, all pillar plates from GOECKE are not only cost effective but easy to install and long lasting. We recommend the 14A model with a heavy cover and exchangeable centrical bolt. Even with a damaged 5/8-thread, the pillar can still be used. This is a unique feature of our plate!

PILLAR PLATE WITH PROTECTION COVER

To measure it is necessary to have the centrical bolt 14C, which is screwed through the drill hole of the centrical bolt in the thread of the plate using the provided M8 screw. After the measurement the cover will be fixed in that thread. An easy to understand installation instruction and a drilling template for steel anchors is included in the shipment.

The ultimate solution. The basic advantage is the heavy cover, which protects the plate against mechanical forces and has an exchangeable centrical bolt with a 5/8 thread. BRACKETS FOR TOTAL STATIONS

On many tunnel construction sites brackets for total stations are improvised with makeshift solutions. The results are often less functional and hardly aesthetic. We dealt intensely with the topic of brackets in tunnels, held meetings with experts and developed a variety of different brackets, which have performed extremely well on many construction sites. All brackets are suitable to heavy instruments, such as the gyro theodolites and total stations. This holds true with a proper professional installation. According to the desired area (e.g. bracket installed location, desired operational life, required mobility and the expected external influences on the bracket) individual models are still better than others. The bracket 14-TK-... has been a proven product for many years and is available in various distances to the wall. It can be mounted at the bench and on the invert of the tunnel. The relatively simple design renounces complex and sensitive clamping or other parts, whose reliable functions could be undermined through dirt, dust and shotcrete. It is therefore a good choice for very rough tunnel environments. Particularly solid, the design is made of a 50mmangle steel. The 200 x 200mm large, 10mm thick instrument plate will be supplied with fixed inserted (not rotatable) 5/8-screw for each commercial surveying instrument. BRACKET 14-TK2 - reliable Joint assembling

A rotatable and tiltable hinged arm (3) with instrument feeder plate (4) can be absolutely reliably fixed on the extension arm in almost every position with two M16-clamping screws. If the bracket should be mounted at the top of the tunnel, the hinged arm could be switched around the axis of the extension arm in order to guarantee an optimal instrument positioning at that area of the tunnel. The bracket is completely made of stainless steel (V2A) and is designed solidly in all details. For assembling a ratchet wrench with 24mm socket is required, which we could supply. Further tools for the installation are not required. The bracket 14-TK2 was designed by Dipl.-Ing. Juergen Wilhelm for use in TBM advances with concrete segments. The bracket was used in the Katzenbergtunnel for the first time in the year 2007. GOECKE developed it further and patented it in 2009. If concrete segment joints - wether axial or radial - with a minimum width of 5mm exist in the tunnel, any drilling at the installation is avoided. The assembly and horizontal adjustment at that application is done within less than a minute.

The ingenious clamping mechanism allows use of the heaviest surveying instruments and has been tested by us in a tunnel with a load of more than 80 kilograms.

The bracket base (1) with fixed assembled extension arm (2) can be mounted in every joint with a minimum width of 5mm. Both clamping claws are pressed tightly to the joint flanks with two M16-screws. I doing so, the bracket is reliably fixed.

Wall Bracket 14-TK3, the Universal Bracket

The following tools are needed for mounting: Hammering drill (10mm diameter) Ratchet wrench Sockets SW 17 and SW 24mm Hammer (for tightening the cantilever) Information for the 14-TK2 bracket users: The 14-TK3 bracket cantilever is also available separately. It is compatible with the 14-TK2 bracket hinge. Consequently the use of your old bracket can be widely extended. Our universal wall bracket is mainly based on the 14-TK2 bracket (for details please refer to page 10). This bracket is even more flexible as there are no joints necessary for mounting. The main advantages of the universal brackets 14-TK3 are as follows: A very short mounting time (less than 2 minutes) High load suitability (more than 80 kg) Mounting is possible at any position and on almost all surfaces Easy leveling possible due to the ingenious adjustment and clamping mechanism Non obstructive sunken wall plug can remain in the wall even if not in use Good value for the money The reuseable galvanized mounting plate 14-TK3-MP can be mounted with three M10 dowels wherever needed. The three-pointed base also provides a stable and secure fastening to uneven surfaces. Set-up for use with an instrument the cantilever with the hinge arm needs to be tightly screwed onto the mounting plate. Best results for tightening can be achieved using a hammer on the thread nut. The base plate for the instrument can be leveled using the turnable and swivel hinge. The instrument can be securely clamped using a 24mm ratchet wrench with socket or an ordinary 24mm ring key. The bracket is mainly made from stainless steel (V2A) with only the thread part consisting of lacquered steel due to the manufacturing process. This guarantees a high life expectancy.

SINGLE ARM-BRACKET 14-TK1 LIGHT AND MOBILE

Because the tribrach only has a limited possibility of horizontal adjustment the wall bolt has to be installed precisely. We recommend using a two component mortar and the installation device 14-TK1-EV with two perpendicularly installed tubular levels. At this the form-locking installation of the bolt head to the tunnel wall is extremely important. We recommend filling the joint between the bolt backside and the tunnel wall with 2-K concrete or similar. If you want to use an instrument that is heavier than 7kg or a motorized instrument, the bracket should be supported by two additional lateral props to achieve higher rigidity. You will need to install two standard wall bolts with M8- female thread of the series 11R (see page 7) below the bracket. Optionally we deliver the props set 14-TK1-TSA. All necessary parts are included. For transportation of brackets, feeder bolts and the optionally available props sets we recommend our transport box with adequate cut packing material. In this special box you are able to fit in two entire bracket packages with props sets and installation equipment. Distance to wall: 490mm Weight (without props set): 2.3 kg

Very light, problem-free transportable and very precisely manufactured bracket for mounting on the invert and bench of tunnel made of aluminium for all surveying instruments. The precision of iteration for the positioning of instruments is around 1/10 milimeter. This system is very economical because many instrument setups are seldom in use at the same time. The arm of the bracket consists of a very stiff 40 x 60mm aluminium box design with screwed feeder plate diameter 120mm. The reliable fixing of the tribrach to the bracket is carried out via slip proven 5/8-screw. The adaptation of the bracket on the wall is carried out at that system via a solid brass bolt with protection cap, which is glued or grouted directly into the wall. For measurement the cover will be unscrewed and replaced with an adapter bolt made of high-grade steel, on which the bracket will be moved and fixed with a clamping lever. 14-TK1-WA with optional supplied telescope props set 14-TK1-TSA, at this picture with LEICA-Total station. Via two alignment pins in the adapter bolt 14-TK1-AB the centred precision will be increased because the bracket arm will only fit into one position (identical with the first mounting) on the wall bolt. PROFILE MEASURING DISK

The disk is made of sheet aluminium with a thickness of 3mm and anodized with silver. The prism installed in the centre is coated with copper with an offset of -34mm. The adapter for connecting the telescopic rod is included in the scope of delivery.

The profile measuring disk is used for checking excavation geometries if instruments with reflectorless measurement mode are not available. MINI PRISMS FOR MONITORING TASKS CLOSE TO THE BOTTOM

46-BMP25: Extremely stable body with a wall thickness of 4mm made of galvanized steel with a rotatable- and tiltable 25mm-mini prism of aluminium. Base area 155x50x5mm, total height of the system is 50mm. Offset -17mm. To fix the prism an open-end wrench with 13mm is required. The diameter of the mounting hole is 8.5mm.

46-MP17-AL and -S: these monitoring prisms are specifically designed for the application on the ground. The 17mm mini prism is glued into the solid aluminium body with a vertical inclination of approximately 20. Due to the very flat design, the prism protrudes out of the track surface only by a total of 23mm. The (prism) base area is 100x100mm. A cross-shaped shaft with 22mm edge length and 70mm shaft length is located at the bottom side of the aluminium body of version 46-MP17-AL-S. CROSS PROFILES MADE OF ALUMINIUM

At the establishment of surface networks many control points have to be marked reliably in soft ground. A reliable possibility is our cross profile made of corrosion proven aluminium alloy. The cross profiles can be used in soft to light compacted grounds and attached easily with prisms. For soft ground we recommend the spiral version, which offers a significantly better anchorage compared to the standard version. To drive it in you should use our special tool and a sledge hammer. Thus a deformation of the shank can be avoided, which would complicate the attaching of the end cap with the M8-thread. The caps will be attached after driving in the cross profile and will be permanently connected with one or two hammer blows.
