Fort Worth
You may not realize it, but several different organizations work together to make the Trinity Trails better. Besides providing flood control and managing our water supplies, the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) has constructed, and now maintains, most of the trail system and trailheads across Fort Worth. They also provide fun features such as water fountains, boat launches and wayfinding signs. The City of Fort Worth Parks and Community Services Department maintains our more than 200 parks and 22 community centers. Streams & Valleys acts as a nonprofit steward, collaborating with the TRWD and City of Fort Worth to inspire, fund and develop projects that enhance the river and trails. We all work together to pursue an ultimate plan we call the Trinity River Vision.
