Statement of Purpose:

To get a job in my areas of interest which can lead to growth of me technically, creatively, financially and managerially.
WORK EXPERIENCE Academic Affairs Secretary , Student Gymkhana, IIT Hyderabad This democratically elected position contains a plethora of jobs pertaining to academics, scholarships, labs libraries etc. The position requires the person to be the single point of contact between the students, faculty and staff. Bringing in innovative concepts and redesigning the academic framework is also an underlying job. Optimization of Millipore values in Cylinder Head machining ( Industrial Project) Organization: Royal Enfield, Chennai The project was aimed at optimizing the Millipore values in CNC machines of cylinder head components in production line.

Robotics Internship, Think labs Pursued a course in robotics so as to get acclimatized with microcontrollers, programming them, interfacing sensors and motors and performing complex maneuvers. Part of Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) of IIT Hyderabad

Projects Undertaken Schieleren Photography Apparatus set up. Organization: IITH, Dr. Raja Banerjee To procure and to set up a Schieleren photography apparatus in Heat Transfer lab in IITH. This was a cocurricular project and not part of any course. Free vibration analysis of flat oval ducts Organization: IITH, Dr.B.Venkatesham To experimentally numerically and analytically analyze the vibration characteristics of flat oval ducts and to optimally design the ducts. HONORS project. ANSYS simulations and experimental study Prototype of a robot arm with integrated touch pad control Organization: IITH To analyze design and fabricate a robotic arm which can function autonomously as well as based on input from a touch pad control to achieve a desired function. Heat Transfer Characterizations and Simulation of Composite materials. Organization: IITH To understand the heat transfer prediction in composite materials and to develop an FEM model. To use this model to come up with high strength heat resistant composite materials. ANSYS simulations Design and Analysis of active suspension systems using PID controllers Organization: IITH To design and analyze the working of active suspension systems by integrating and tuning a PID controller and to simulate the response to various road disturbances using MATLAB. Simulation of Transonic flow in turbo machines Organization: IITH To simulate the transonic flow in turbo-machines using FLUENT and correlation using existing theoretical and practical results. FLUENT and GAMBIT Forex reserves : History and Policies Organization: IITH To understand the concept of forex reserves and to analyze the various forex policies adopted by India since 1991.

Part of institute cricket team which won inter-year and inter-hostel cricket championships Participated in national level tennis tournaments. Participated in quizzes in school.

Honors and Minors Program: Minor Program in entrepreneurship includes a plethora of courses which relate to development of a crude idea into a viable business model, the finances, marketing and sales, customer acquisition techniques, risk management, business plan development among many others whose main aim is to prepare the student for a competitive market environment. Honors program included two extra core courses and a one year project. The courses that I pursued were mainly in Design area and the project I did mainly dealt with numerical and practical vibration analysis design of structures.
