FOR A COMPLIMENTARY PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR ALL WITHIN THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY

A Conversation with Steve Valentine, National Thought Leader on Healthcare Trends and Regional Impact
As providers continue to be confronted with pressures of improving health, providing better care and reducing costs, 2014 is sure to see continued transformational changes in the health care industry. Health systems and hospitals will continue to expand the continuum of care that they provide within their market through the expansion of ambulatory services and post-acute services. The insurance exchanges and Medicaid expansion will magnify physician shortages while physician-hospital alignment will continue as a strategic imperative to better position health systems and hospitals to manage risk-based payment models. All this will occur while providers will continue to pursue efficiencies in health care delivery through affiliations and mergers and other collaborations. Steve Valentine, president of The Camden Group, will provide insight into these and other national trends that all providers will confront over the coming year.
