January 10, 2014 Jules Schenk Marketing & Events Manager National Panhellenic Conference 3901 West 86th Street Suite #398 Indianapolis, IN 46268 Dear Ms. Schenk: I first learned of this opportunity last summer and I am writing to you today to express my excitement to have learned about the availability of marketing internships with the National Panhellenic Conference. I am extremely confident that I would make an excellent addition to your team, not only for my work with Panhellenic at my university, but also because of my love for all that the conference stands for and my dedication to the 26 organizations it governs. I have held positions within my fraternity that foster camaraderie and cooperation between my organization and others, both within Panhellenic and the remaining three councils. I have also worked directly with the University of South Floridas Panhellenic Association as Director of Online Communication. I worked under the Vice President of External Communication and ran the University of South Florida Panhellenic Facebook pages, Twitter and Instagram. To help me succeed in this position, I utilized social media managing websites, such as Hootesuite. Holding this position complemented the work I did while serving as a Recruitment Counselor for this past falls formal recruitment. As a Recruitment Counselor, I was able to help market the four pillars of Panhellenic and Greek life to my peers and their parents or family members. After returning to my Chapter on Bid Day, I resumed work as a member of my Chapters Cabinet of officers and presented what I had been working on all throughout my disaffiliation. I understand the demand for which social media work calls and the importance of accurate and speedy communication between councils, organizations and individual people while maintaining to the best of my ability our Panhellenic community. Along with my experience working with the USF Panhellenic Association, I am also extremely dedicated to the growth and development of our council and work hard to research new ways to reach out to our community, learn new and different facts about the members and organizations of our community and communicate with and to all those seeking information. I am a fast learner, open-minded and passionate about the values and beliefs of the National Panhellenic Conference; qualities that I believe would be assets to your team. There is a passion within me, for this council, that I believe is unmatched.

I have attached my resume and writing samples and am available for phone interviews at different times throughout the week or available to answer any additional questions you may have about my involvement and leadership experience. Thank you very much for taking your time to respond to my emails during our initial communication and read through my documents now. I hope that you will seriously consider me for this position and I hope to hear from you.

Sincerely, Lanisha Hinds Attached: Resume and writing samples
