Introduction:
This Field Service Bulletin expline that the Purpose of GoNoGo Test is to give basic first check of a returned product after a repair activity by Nokia authorized Service Suppliers.

To harmonize the GoNoGo activities at all service level the following GoNoGo test specifications have been set to ensure electrical and visual condition of serviced products to be returned to Nokia customer. The GoNoGo Test has to be performed as a repair quality inspection after several service activities. For details please refer to the Definition of Service Codes bulletin. This GoNoGo Test is also part of a Final test procedure described in Final Test Specification For GSMWCDMA Phones bulletin. This document is based in internal TB#X XXXXXXXXXXXXXX 1. SERVICE PROCEDURE The GoNoGo Test differs in two sets of tests: Manual test All tests have to be done in an easy useable way to get a simple result if the function works or not (Ok/NotOk). These are minimum requirements with/without refurbishment. 1) Visual inspection - Check if assembly is completed (Screws, covers ...) - Check if movable parts (e.g. SD-, USB-doors) are working correctly. - for refurbished phones according to "Definition of swap phones" and operator specific requirements 2) Main UI functions (if supported by phone) - LED test (LCD/Key Backlight, Flashlight ) - Display - Key and joystick, touch screen - Mechanical function test (e.g. open/close/cam-mode) - Camera - Charge - Audio (in/out) 3) Add On function (if supported) - e.g. Memory Card, WLan, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio

The Add On function must be tested if claimed by customer and/or if function was impacted during performed repair activity. Check for specific abnormalities based on internal/external claims for that model and customer. After the repair process the userfolder in the mass memory has to be checked if it is empty. Refer to Updating Phone Software At Authorized Service Supplier An example for Manual tests is under CHAPTER 4. RF test The GSM/WCDMA specification is divided into test steps (CHAPTER 5 & 6), which can be run automatically with control software from the relevant test equipment supplier. The test has to be done at least for one of the local supported GSM band pairs (GSM900/1800 or GSM850/1900) and for one of the local supported WCDMA band. To eliminate interference problems with external networks the test shall be performed in a shield box. For further information please see CHAPTER 7. The Test step order can be changed to get the best test performance according the used equipment.

All tests have to be performed with the assembled phone.
