iPad Support :

This document contains extending Spaces iPhone app to iPad app. This effort mentioned for iPad (retina and Non retina display) portrait mode and landscape mode.

General Analysis:
Image resolutions needs to be improved (Launching image, Background image, bottom bar, top bar) List view loading performance needs to be improved. Initial data loading should be more since screen size is big. (As of now we have to do release to refresh for loading data) Scrolling performance needs to be improved since it is big screen and loading a more data. Text fields and labels resolution, height and width should be increased as per iPad compatibility. Transition from screen to another screen performance should be improved. Flickering is happening while transition. Landscape mode transition should be improved. Because sometimes getting blank space right side of the corner.

Days calculated only depend upon required effort to same extending iPhone to iPad app. There might be more effort and time if it is design changes for iPad. Effort time may vary performance of following factors Scrolling, data loading, screen splitting, landscape support. Testing and bug fixes effort time not calculated.

5.Status Update

Required Effort: 1. Increasing height and width of the textfield as iPad size . Min resolution of 540 x 800 px. 2. Suggest there is no need for separate page needed for update. Pop-up is enough to update status.

6. Notification Screen:

Required Effort: 1.Notification window size needs to be decided. 2.Table View needs to be improved.

7. Sharing Screen :

Required Effort: 1.Top bar has been hided while typing. 2. Increasing height and width of the textfield as iPad size . Or text field UI can be modified for iPad.

8.Photo & Video Screen :

(Estimated time : 1day)

Required Effort: 1.This is default behavior of iOS device. 2. It will be more effective library page and camera show page will be a pop-up like facebook app.

9.Group& Project list view : (Estimated time : 2days)

Required Effort : 1. List view data display should be more for iPad . As of now only 10 datas are shown.20 or more data should be more effective. And also there is no need to do release to refresh for loading more data in initial loading. 2. Scrolling performance should be improved. 3. Text field resolution can be increased.

Required Effort: Getting blank space right side of the screen when moving to landscape. Need to fix it.
