Protect Yourself From Colds And Flu!
Research conducted in 52 countries As the summer ends, another season - the cold
and flu season - begins. Most people will suffer 1 to 3 colds a year, usually during
early September and late April. Doctors call them "viral upper respiratory infections"
or "acute viral nasopharyngitis" because big words always sound impressive to
patients.
Colds may be caused by any one of over 200 viruses that cause inflammation in the

Ammunition:6mm BB Pellets ICS launch "Galil series", which is the AEG version of the classic rifle designed by I.M.I.
(Israel Military Industries). This classic rifle combines the durability of AK74 series with the precision of M16 series. After
Yom Kippur war, the Galil rifle was issued as the official rifle to the I.D.F. (Israel Defense Forces) military service. After the
experiencing the small-scale battles, "Galil rifles" become one of world famous assault rifle because of excellent durability
and accuracy. Then I.M.I developed more variant models, such as Galil ARM, assault rifles machine and Galil AR, assault
rifles. Now ICS releases two versions of AEG for experienced Airsoft player. One is ?ICS Galil ARM? and the other is
?ICS Galil AR?. ICS Galil series have the following features, just here waiting for your review and enjoy the play with
them! ICS Galil is worth more than its price. It will also be an ICS Icon master piece to satisfy market demand. Classic rifle
lovers can buy ICS Galil not only for collection but also for war game. Take the 3.5kg "ICS Galil ARM? as an example, the
quick release bipod let the player be a sniper and at prone-position easily. After releasing the bipod, the weight of ICS
Galil Arm is only 3.0 kg. Players can quickly join allies and give fire support. As to "ICS Galil AR", it has the same barrel
length, plastic handguard except the bipod. This rare classic AEGs allows you become the focus in the war game.
Currently most Galil AEG on the market is super-expensive. The price is too high to buy one and the blow back system is
easily broken. So many fans of "Galil rifle" have not dare to get one. ICS Galil AEG is made by real firearms industry
production process plus affordable price to support ICS fans. The unique designs, "the simultaneous act grip fire select
lever " let you keep your fire position when you are changing the firing mode. ICS has the spirit of innovation shown in the
product design, again The new ICS Galil series utilize large number of steel dewaxing process to achieve the structure
and material design concept the of real firearms. The steel dewaxing processes not only strengthen body structure, but
also provide the vintage feel of classic rifle. In order to increase the collective value of Galil AEG, ICS copy the I.D.F.
equipment in particular and inscribe Hebrew on lower receiver. ICS ARM has solid wood handguard. When the players
hold ICS Galil AEG, as if the time goes back to the Arab-Israeli war. The scenes of I. D.F. to defend the their boundary
and homeland just come into our sight. (1)Players can adjusted fire mode to safety, semi-auto and full auto without
changing their fire posture. This design is practical, functional and fun. (2)Israel Defense Forces(IDF) officially uses
Galil.Collectors will enjoy the consideration from ICS. (3)ICS utilizes the similar production process to real gun. The upper
cover is made of stamping steel. The lower receiver is made of aluminum alloy die-casting. The solid gun body structure
let you worry about nothing in the combat. (4)Gun body joint, folding stock bracket, rear sight set, front sight group, Quick

battle and shows perseverance. (5)ICS Galil ARM has quick release bipod. (6)Quick release bipod can be ingeniously
folded and fixed under the solid wood handguard. (7)The bipod simulate a more ingenious appearance of real bipod, wire
cutting and bottle opener function. Only ICS Galil keep the appearance of real gun and the functions in the same time.
(8)Quick disassembly step: Press the upper cover bottom. (9)Take the upper cover apart. (10)Unloaded charging handle
set. (11)Unloaded magazine, grip, select lever parts set. (12)Push hop-up forward to take the gear Box out. (13)The quick
disassembly is completed. (14)Assemble ICS Galil be sure to align the ? hole on the selector plate to the raised point on
grip selector when you install the gear box into lower receiver. (15)Movable charging handle - You can enjoy the
reproduced act of real gun. In the same time you could adjust hop-up to change the trajectory. It's another unique design
which combine the practical and entertaining function. (16)Unlike the other Galil which use AK magazine, ICS design an
exclusive Galil magazine replica for ICS Galil. Collectors will realize our consideration. Both pins are made of steel. It will
not wear and tear. (17)ARM has solid wood handquard with quick assembly bipod.

The Art of Control
In the years that I have been involved in this I'm at a point where I feel very fortunate. I'm very
thankful for theopportunities that I have been afforded. I get to tour this great
country teaching and helping people. I get to work with a greatnetwork of instructors that want to do
the same thing. I get tosee alot of things that most don't get
to see. Some of it verygood and some of it pretty bad.
Today I want to talk to you about a gray area that seems to
get overlooked in alot of programs. I see certain
organzations or schools talking about how their technique
are so violent and how this agency won't use them
Paul Green because of it and it's basically aggressive marketing to get
STONEWAL TACTICAL the uneducated to think they are the real deal. They talk
Inside D.G.C.F.S. about gouging eyes out and ripping testicles and ears and
A new place 1 all this stuff. They basically just strike to maim. I had a
Ronald’s Fitness Corner 2 friend years ago who got into a streetfight and used one
Coming events 3 such technique. It ended up blinding the guy and my friend
Airsoft Products 4
Cont. new place 6 got sued losing everything. It took him years to recover.
Art of Control 8 You can have all the violent techniques in the world but if
Street fighting seal style 10 you can't use them legally are they really functional for our society? Of course there are many
Fight or flight 11 situations where those techniques would need to be used. Such as on the battlefield, attempted rape,
Terrorist look for soft targets 13
Good places to go 15 or attempted murder, but definately not for your average streetfight. Oh sure there may be a little chin
jab here or maybe an eyes poke or smack an ear here or there to get a certain reaction but that's alot
different than maiming someone just because you can. Sure those violent techniques work great but
are they socially responsible? Shouldn't we aspire to be better because our society demands it? An
ethical person doesn't do the right thing just because they are forced to they are ethical because they
will do the right thing even when no one is looking. A few months ago I wrote an article called Kitty
Genovese and Me discussing the bystander effect. Towards the end of that article I covered
something called the biker mentality. Basically what scientists discovered was that if a group that
witnesses a violent event feels the victim is part of their peer group in some way that they will likely
intervene. Most people believe they are good and decent people and with the popularity of MMA
competitions we are exposed to much more violence everyday. Don't worry I'll wrap all this up in a
neat little bow as we continue. I hear people say all the time that there isn't any rules in streetfighting.
Those people are wrong and hear is why. There are two types of truth in the world we live in. You
have the ultimate truth with is the facts. Then you have truth in application which is what you'll
actually deal with in life. You see the truth we deal with in life in nothing more than the perception of
the majority. In other words, if 80 percent believe something is true even though it isn't that it actually
doesn't matter because the other 20 percent are going to have to live with it. Laws and so forth will be
made based on the perception of what is true not necessarily what is actually true. Let's say your at a
party or a bar or whatever and you end up in a fight. Ther's a bunch of drunk guys standing around watching whose only knowledge about "real
fighting" is watching UFC or one of the other MMA organizations. The guy is fighting you toe to toe and you fire off these eyes gouges and goin shots
your going to be in trouble. Whether there's a such thing as cheating in streetfighting is irrelevant because these people watching will perceive you
as cheating no matter what. You just became the bad guy. It isn't a fair fight to them anymore it's an assault and your a bad person in their eyes. You
just made the guy your maiming part of their peer group. In other words you just incited a multiple attacker beatdown and your it. You'll be lucky to
get out of the night without being maimed yourself because in their eyes you'll deserve it. The biker mentality will take over which basically means if
you fight one you'll have to fight them all.
I believe any socially responsible system will dedicate a good amount of time to control techniques such as joint locks, wraps, etc. Since ancient
times in most asian cultures control techniques have been regarded as the highest skill. It takes alot more skill to down an attacker without wounded
them in some way. The belief is that anyone can just deck someone you don't need any training to do that. Let's say a guy just fired from his
job and his ego has been dumped on and maybe he doesn't know how his family is going to make it. He's probably not going to be in a great mood.
Let's say for whatever reason you get into it with this guy and he gets blinded by one of these violent techniques that so many teach. Maybe he isn't
a great person and shouldn't have done whatever he did or maybe he is a great person and just made a mistake. Even if he deserved it does that
mean his wife and kids deserved it too? Now he can't work and without a job he has no health insurance. I don't think there's any arguements that
can break out where someone deserves all that in the end. The fact is in that instance you were socially irresponsible and you just cost a family
everything over the fact that you didn't focus on the right things in your training. I hear things all the time like," I took that guy out that way because i
didn't have a choice." Was he in that situation because he didn't have a choice or was it because he didn't have the training to do anything other than
what he did? When your controlling a person with one of these techniques the good part is you are also controlling yourself. Instead of witnesses
seeing someone tearing a guy up they see someone who is trying to keep a guy from hurting you or himself. They see someone who is just and
responsible. They see someone who is a better person. I hear alot of instructors say that jointlocks for example are incidental and accidental that
they can't be done under stress consistently. I find this to be a very ignorant statement made by people who haven't been taught the correct
progression to set them up or just plain don't have the insight to figure it out for themselves. I myself have a program called the S.T.A.R.
Page 8
Method(Stonewall Tactical Armlocks and Restraints) that can nail jointlocks with extreme speed under extreme stress at a very high success rate
that has already been proven in the field. It isn't very hard to do with the right training. This however isn't about me or my program I'm sure there are
many out there that are also very good. I know there are many times when violent techniques need to be used in self defense situations and I teach
them myself but their are also times when they definately shouldn't be used. My point is that the people I train have the choice and I believe that
others should have that same choice. I believe it's the responsibility of instructors to make sure they have this choice. I also believe the only way they
will have this choice is if control techniques are made an important part of any program otherwise you are making the ethical and moral choices for
them and I don't believe that is right. It should be up to the individual. They can't be the person who makes the right decision when know one is
looking if they don't have the tools to do so. So if control techniques aren't a part of your curriculum please rethink it. Give your students the choice to
make the right decision when need be and the tools to follow through with it. Thank you for reading this article.

Einstein taught me this” he says as he makes a triple bank, and buries it! To say that
the already volatile situation had reached critical mass would be a slight
understatement.Every range has advantages and disadvantages. When discussing a
fight, the person going forward can always move faster than the person going
backwards. The boxer can have the advantage over the kicker, and vice versa. The
trapper/ clinch fighter, who uses head-butts, elbows and knees, has the advantage over
the boxer. This was Bruce Lee’s amazing revelation. Here we are back to our Central
Theme again. The person that can fight out of his chosen range, and keep his
opponent out of their range, will win! Within the confines of this philosophy, the wrestler
has an advantage over the trapper. Most of my JKD contemporaries squirm when I say
this, but fact is fact. At this point one must be wondering; if, the wrestler has an
advantage over the trapper, why did Bruce Lee stress trapping?
The answer is simple. When one goes to the ground he is automatically restricted to fighting one on one. Picture UFC
matches when both participants are literally stuck to the ground for half an hour. Now imagine if either of these fighters
had just one friend. That one friend could practically walk down to the local hardware store, buy an ax handle, walk back
to the fight, and smash his buddies’ adversary on the head. They could both then, walk away. So, yes, wrestling has an
advantage one on one. However, one on one, like ground fighting, is a gentleman’s art. (If it wasn’t, they would all be
practicing Kina Mutai, (biting and eye gouging), and we would have no gentlemen! In closing, remember when we discuss
the word fight, like the game; Rock, Paper, and Scissors, there is no winner, just somebody who adapts better than
someone else….

Fight, Flight or Freeze
Fight or flight. Fight or flight. Fight or flight. Heard that tune before? Chances are
you have. Chances are every instructor you've ever had has regurgitated that mantra
before you. It is quick and catchy, almost like a song really and so easy to remember. A
snappy alliteration. You probably have locked the three word, two-prong, catch-phrase

1929 by one Dr. Walter Canon with his original formulation of human threat response -

away?”
Simple enough as one, two. But, somewhere lurking free in our understanding is yet
another, vital, “F-word,” freeze. From the cave-men confronted by the saber-tooth
tiger on the prehistoric veldt, to the soldier in Afghanistan, they, and we gathered
here, all see and understand the...big freeze. We all intuitively know that we must
include “Fight, Freeze or Flight,” in the first milliseconds of an ambush of any type.
These three Fs are utterly and intrinsically connected to this. Okay, we know this, so
what does the latest research show? Modern experts agree and can also now define
and refine that not all freezing comes from fear or fright! You may freeze when
shocked for several biological reasons that have nothing to do with bravery, courage
or lack thereof.
I began reading about these other two Fs - Fright and Freeze in the 1990s. I grew
impatient with the constant repetition of Canon's lonely two Flight or Fight. Without
recognizing freeze and fright, the topic, the preparation training and post-treatment will
be stunted and incomplete. A real recipe for wrong. Also, impatient and tired with the
over-simplistic Canon, two-prong Fs, in 2004, in an issue of Psychosomatics of the American Journal of Psychiatry, five
doctors, specializing in psychiatry (see below list) petitioned the peers to change the flight or flight mantra. In an article entitled,
“ Does Flight or Fight Need Updating ” they begin a challenging, yet common sense dissertation on the subject: “Walter
Cannon's original formulation of the term for the human response to threat, "fight or flight," was coined exactly 75 years ago, in
1929.1 It is an easily remembered catch-phrase that seems to capture the essence of the phenomena it describes. It accurately
evokes two key behaviors that we see occurring in response to threat. This phrase has led to certain ingrained assumptions about
what to expect in our patients and, because of its broad usage, what they expect of themselves. It is a testament to the
foundational significance of Cannon's work that the term he used continues to shape clinical understanding and to influence
popular culture's understanding of stress as well. But the phrase has not been updated to incorporate important advances in the
understanding of the acute response to extreme stress. Specifically, the term ignores major advances in stress research made
since it was coined. Both human and animal research on the pan-mammalian response to stress has advanced considerably since
1929, and it may be time to formulate a new form of this catch-phrase that presents a more complete and nuanced picture of
how we respond to danger."They go on: “The phrase "fight or flight" has influenced the understanding and expectations
of both clinicians and patients; however, both the order and the completeness of Cannon's famous phrase are suspect.
"Fight or flight" mis-characterizes the ordered sequence of responses that mammals exhibit as a threat escalates or
approaches. In recent years, ethnologists working with nonhuman primates have clearly established four distinct fear
responses that proceed sequentially in response to increasing threat. The order of these responses may have important
implications for understanding and treating acute stress in humans."The article reminds their peers that people freeze in
place for reasons other than fear/fright. One might freeze form a hyper-vigilance, and/or by just being overwhelmed by
surrounding stimuli, Not fear. Therefore, the act of freezing can be clinically different that fright. You can freeze from fright
and you can freeze from being overwhelmed in a sensory overload -which has nothing to do with fear. Many specialists
such as Dr. Jeffrey Allen Gray state we all freeze FIRST to some degree! Then react. Page 11
So the experts summarize:
“We propose the adoption of the expanded and reordered phrase "freeze, flight, fight, or fright" as a more complete and
nuanced alternative to "fight or flight." While we cannot hope to compete with the legacy of Cannon's phrase in the culture
at large, adoption of this alternative term within the clinical community may help keep clinicians aware of the relevant
advances in understanding of the human stress response made since the original term "fight or flight" was coined three-
quarters of a century ago.” Medical professionals do use the full, four Fs now, in so
many fields from speech therapy for stuttering to post traumatic stress treatment for
combat vets. But that common “culture at large” the doctors mentioned, remains
ignorant and still does love to sing the simple song of Flight or Fight. They sing on and
on about the two Fs and the sympathetic nervous system and two F-shooting and Two
F-fighting and two-F thinking and two-F training on and on. And, like so many blindly
accepted principles spouted in martial, police and the military training dogma, ideas
like the disproved Hicks Law, and the mis-quoted Startle Reflex, the “fight or flight”
catch phrase has not been updated for most of us in 8 decades of steadily, advancing
research. In your humble correspondent's opinion here, a martial training doctrine
might well function with just the three Fs of "Fight, Flight or Freeze. After all, a freeze is a freeze whether it be from a
sudden fright or a sudden sensory overload. Just please explain it to your folks. The "Fourth F of Fright" may only be
mandatory in the psychiatric world, in their post-event treatment world, where they grapple with traumatic stress
syndromes. There are also many small hairs to be split in this subject. Is just backing up just a few steps, officially called a
"flight?" What about under-reacting? Naive TV news viewers complain when they see films of citizens ignoring a vicious
assault occuring on the street, or say - on a pizza line before them. They seem to freeze or ignore the crime! Dr. John
Leach, author of Survival Psychology teaches an advanced course in survival psychology in Lancaster University in
England. Leach has a name for some freezing (and for people who seem to ignore crimes happening before them). "It's
called the "incredulity response." People simply don't believe what they're seeing. So they go about their business,
engaging in what's known as ‘normalcy bias.” Under-reactors act as if everything is OK and underestimate the
seriousness of danger. “Some experts call this "analysis paralysis. People lose their ability to make decisions.” Leach
says the vast majority of us...(80%) in a crisis, most will "quite simply be stunned and bewildered. We'll find that our
reasoning is significantly impaired and that thinking is difficult. It's OK, and it doesn't last forever. The key is to recover
quickly from brain lock or analysis paralysis, shake off the shock and figure out what to do.”
What is hypervigilance? Is the natural "stop-look-listen" considered a freeze? What is Tonic Immobility? Is there a natural
progression to the Fs when you are confronted and does freeze come first?
