The1966landmarkSupremeCourtCaseofMirandav.Arizonachangedthelawsystem drasticallybecausetheMirandaRightswereestablishedandimplementedbylawofficialsthroughoutthe nation.Withclearresponsibilitiesinadditiontodefinedandprotectedrights,theinterrogationprocess wasrevolutionized.TheMirandaRightsservednottoinhibitthelaw,butratherclarifyitforthearresting individualsandthearrestedcitizens.ThisCasesetupguidelineswhichemphasizetheimportanceof protectingthelibertiesoftheaccused.Withoutthisprogressanddelineationofprotocolduringarrests, blurredlinesofthelawwouldencourageexploitationofsuspectsandhindrancetothelegalprocess today.
