Attached to this memorandum is a list of the mosques in the greater San Diego,
CA area. The mosques associated with either Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar or
other witnesses are as follows:

The Islamic Center of San Diego (ICSD)

The ICSD was attended by al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar, along with witnesses
Abdulsattar Shaikh, Omar al-Bayoumi, and Caysan bin Don. Shaikh stated that he first
met al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar at this mosque.

Masjid ar-Ribat al-Islami

The ar-Ribat Mosque had as imam in 2000, Anwar Aulaqi. Both al-Hazmi and al-
Mihdhar were known to have attended this mosque. Aulaqi left the mosque in the latter
part of the year 2000 and became the imam of the Dar al-Hijra mosque in Falls Church,
VA, which was also attended by al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar. Aulaqi admits contact with
the hijackers at both mosques.

Masjid an-Nour

The an-Nour mosque is also known as the "Somali" mosque. Fahad al-Thumairy,
imam of the King Fahad Mosque, Culver City, CA, and a Saudi consular officer was to
be the guest preacher at this mosque when it opened in 2000. According to Shaikh, al-
Thumairy was late, missed the religious service but attended the dinner at the Aswan
Restaurant. Al-Thumairy admits when interviewed; only traveling to San Diego on two
occasions. This is one of the occasions.

Al-Bayoumi is identified as the "founder" of this mosque by bin Don. Al-Bayoumi was
picking up religious publications and Korans for this mosque when he visited the Saudi
Arabian mosque in Los Angeles, CA on 02101/2000.
