How can we cast out Satan in our lives? By the power and name of Jesus Christ.

When we have accepted Christ by our belief, shown first in our baptism in his
name. The devil no longer has a claim over us. Just as Jesus said in Matthew
12:43. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry
places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Now at Calvary and on the cross was Satan and his kingdom defeated by Christ. The
strong man was defeated and his goods taken from him. We are the spoils of that
war. Matthew 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil
his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
There are only two camps on earth, the camp of Satan or the Savior Jesus. Matthew
12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me
scattereth abroad. Also Jesus spoke these words of wisdom to us all. Matthew
12:33-34 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree
corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation
of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of
the heart the mouth speaketh. What is inside will come out in due time. If it is
sin, it will be found out. Now concerning our words, whether in baptism or life,
Jesus said the following. Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified,
and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Our words show forth our beliefs. Mark
16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not
shall be damned. Every person who says that water alone or getting dunked, as they
like to say, will not save you is in direct contradiction to the words of Christ
himself. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Also
Christ himself sinless, set the example in his baptism by John the Baptiser in
Mark 1:9-11 and Matthew 3:12-17. For he was and is evermore the same and our Great
High Priest. Hebrews 4:15 and 13:8. Let alone what the all of his Apostles said
and did. Their record speaks for itself in the book of Acts. Read chapters 2
through 22 to find it. Everywhere and everyone who believed after hearing the
truth of the word of God, were baptized in the name of Jesus by them. Now if we
are saved and then sell the truth for a lie as Jude warned us not to, there is a
result of that. Matthew 12:44-45 Then he saith, I will return into my house from
whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than
himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is
worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
Brother was some strong words for the backsliders in heart. Jude 3-7 Beloved, when
I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for
me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the
faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in
unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men,
turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God,
and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once
knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them that believed not.
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation,
he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the
great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner,
giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set
forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Also these words of
warning. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily
after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding
themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds;
trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is
reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. And Enoch also, the seventh from
Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of
his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly
among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of
all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. From Jude
11-15. I want everyone to hear the words of Jesus. When he says to them, "Well
done my good and faithful servant", on that day to them and me. But I cannot be a
faithful steward of God's truth is I hide it under a lamp, or do not show forth
his truthful words. The flames of the fires of Hell will not touch us, even as did
not harm the three children of Israel in Babylon, who placed faith in a faithful
creator. Did they suffer? Yes. All that will live Godly in Christ Jesus will. But
the sufferings of this life are not to be compared to the glory that will be
revealed, and that we will receive as we reign with Christ in that day. If you
accept the crown of thorns now, God will exchange it later for a crown of life. In
this life there is a spiritual warfare going on between Christ and Satan. Now
Christ came and set us free and all of his servants now have power (Through the
name of Jesus Christ, and often one must pray and fast to be able to cast out the
devils; calling them out by name.) to over turn the evil out there. Acts 10:38 How
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about
doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with
him. Acts 19:11-12 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that
from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases
departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. This fulfills Mark
16:15-20 as Paul himself was baptized in Christ Jesus, washing away his sins by
the blood of Christ, which was shed forth abundantly for all sin. Acts 22:16 And
now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on
the name of the Lord. Paul also baptized Lydia, the jailer, The people of Corinth
along with John's former followers in the name of Christ Jesus. This is found in
the book of Acts, chapters 16 through 19. Read it yourself. Now unto the great
command and the freeing of the captives, from all the power of the enemy. Mark
16:15-20 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to
every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that
believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In
my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall
take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they
shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had
spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of
God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them,
and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. now what happens if you do not
have some sort of relationship with Christ? Let us see the example put forth. Acts
19:13-17 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over
them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by
Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and
chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I
know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was
leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled
out of that house naked and wounded. And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks
also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord
Jesus was magnified. The name of Jesus was uplifted to take away Satan here. And
that should tell all that unless we apply it in all areas, we are none of his.
Paul wrote this. Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in
the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Now we
read in Matthew this account. Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me,
Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of
my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name
done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:
depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Jesus explicitly calls the casting out of
devils by these non-Christians a work of iniquity. Therefore, it's a work of
Satan's kingdom. If Satan can afflict a person with a sickness, why can't he call
back that sickness and appear to be the Healer? The true church can take heart
against the deceptive works in false religion today, knowing that these modern
deceivers will certainly bring their own house down upon themselves. God sometimes
allows deceivers to test our love for Him, even letting them showing deceptive
signs, wonders and miracles. And the house or kingdom of Satan will fall. Mark
3:26 says, "If Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but
hath an end." Since we already proved that Satan casts out Satan, and we have
proved that his kingdom will and has fallen. It is but a matter of time in that
sinking ship. The plans that God made for this world and us were perfect. Satan by
free will came in and attacked us with mere words and defeated our claim to the
earth. Christ bought it back or redeemed it for us all. and now all we have to do
is trust in him to gain the victory. That victory, of which we had no part in
obtaining it, but we still by his grace can reign with him. Even as kings when we
accept his rule now in our hearts and lives. This is the true Gospel, that is
revealed to all who call upon the name of Lord in truth and in baptism. Thy
kingdom come, they will be done; so in earth as in heaven. The kingdom of Christ
reigns now in our hearts and lives by his spirit. We have accepted his rule. It is
a peaceful one. We have the perfect peace when we keep our hearts and mind set on
thee, Christ our Lord and Savior of all; especially of the household of faith. To
you belong all the glory now and evermore. Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth
a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their
sins. He shall save his people from their sins. Are you one of them? I pray and
hope so. Believe to receive the Holy spirit. This work was completed by Christ.
Right now all we have to do is accept it by putting on Christ and his spirit, the
Holy Spirit, in the rising of the waters are we set free. Not by speaking in other
tongues, (This gift is still present and seen in many churches today, but will
never save you.) or in healing, yet both are available readily today. One of the
most straight-forward ways of shattering the dogma of the Trinity is to understand
Scriptural water baptism. Ephesians 4:5, One Lord, one faith, one baptism. And
there is only one Lord, only one Faith and only one water baptism for the
remission of past sins. As Christians, we are duty bound to ourselves and to God
to first attain the faith of the apostles and prophets, so that our water baptism
is Scriptural and not in vain. The word 'baptize' means to immerse under water,
not to sprinkle or pour a little water over the new believer. We read in the
following passages the evidence of this fact. Acts 10:47, "Can any man forbid
water that these should not be baptized?"
John 5:23, "John also was baptizing at Aenon because "there was much water there."

Acts 8:39, "And they went both down into the water, both Philip and the Eunuch;
And he baptized him."
Acts 8:59, "They came up out of the water."
Romans 6:4, "We are buried with Him by baptism into death."
Romans 6:5, "We have been planted together in the likeness of His Death".
Jesus said. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16:16). Peter
said, there were eight saved by water in Noah's time, "the like figure whereunto
even baptism does also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the
flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), by the resurrection of
Jesus Christ" (I Peter 3:20-21).
Having the privilege of turning the keys of faith to unlock the Kingdom of heaven
to the Israelites, the Samaritans, and to the Gentiles, Peter said, "Repent, and
be baptized everyone of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins"
(Acts 2:38). Since baptism is important to salvation and means to immerse, not
sprinkle, I am confident that if you have not been baptized correctly, and in the
Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that you will run to the water in repentance and
obedience while grace is still available. In doing so, you will cast out the power
of sin and Satan. Your will overcome the world and all things therein, to include
the Devil by your faith. And this is the victory that we as Christians speak of!
