Summer Intern: International Crop Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), India Worked in the Bio-Power Department where my role was to analyze the output of the bio power generation plant according to the quality of bio- fuel used. Industrial Training: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, India Worked in Electrical Control and Development Sector and completed a project on design of the advanced power converters for a CNC lathe machine for different parameters and adjustable speed motor drives.

PROJECTS:
Power Electronics and Drives Designed a MATLAB Simulink model of a DC motor drive and analyzed the dynamic performance of the drive by tuning the controller parameters for desired torque and speed profile of the system. Industrial Substation Design: Worked on SKM Power Tool to design substation under various restrictions to define and evaluate a substation configuration for future expansion under NEC and ANSI standards and designed a PCR (power control room) according to the NEC standard to fit in all the equipment assigned meeting industry specific requirements. Power System Analysis Designed a 7 bus system in CYME power engineering software and performed load flow analysis for an existing industrial network and generate customizable reports Protective Device (Circuit Breaker) Coordination Circuit breakers coordination using time current curves (TCC) applying IEEE, ANSI and NEMA codes and calculating the possible values of fault currents within systems, analyzing the impact of short circuits and failures that has on fuses and circuit breakers.
