Pers Personnel Discovering Fire

Action 1. Shut down the affected equipment and fight fire with extinguisher. If unable to put out the fire, evacuate, close door and isolate fuel supply. 2. Report situation to DCO. Collect First Aid kit and stretcher. Report to bridge. Collect FF/DC check off list. Account for all persons. Take over as the OOW. Take the helm Collect BA control board and prepare BA. Dress FF Teams Hoist Flag J (by day). Shut down all fans/blowers and air conditioning. Prepare RHIB for launching. Connect aft hose and nozzle to hydrant. FF team # 2 FF team #1 (coveralls and BA with extinguisher) Shut down all stbd side fireflaps (Engine Room flap only when ordered). Prepare portable FF pump. FF Team #2 Collect extinguishers and take them to DC Central. Prepare portable FF pump or FF Team # 1 1 (coveralls and BA with extinguisher) Prepare portable FF pump or FF Team # 1 1 (coveralls and BA with extinguisher) Shut down all port side fireflaps (Engine Room flap only when ordered)

Action 1. Place fire blanket over object on fire (Galley Fire) 2. Activate the Emergency Galley Stop switch (Galley Fire) 3. Fight fire with extinguisher (if possible) Collect First Aid kit and stretcher. Report to bridge. Collect FF/DC check off list. Account for all persons. Take over as the OOW. Take the helm Collect BA control board and prepare BA. Dress FF Teams Hoist Flag J (by day). 1. Shut down all fans/blowers (except engine room) and AC 2. Switch on main FF Pumps Prepare RHIB for launching. Connect aft hose and nozzle to hydrant. FF team #1 (coveralls and BA with extinguisher) Shut down stbd side fireflaps (Except Engine Room). Get portable FF pump on deck. FF Team #2 Collect extinguishers and take them to DC Central. FF Team # 1 (coveralls and BA with extinguisher)
