Dino: Now lets check in with our entertainment correspondent, Laila Gardiner, Laila?

Laila: Thanks Dino. Did you know that Barbara Parks the author of the books Junie B. Jones died on November 15. I remember reading one of her books called Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business all the time. Her writings will sadly be missed.

Laila: The Lord of the Rings movie series is

coming out with another movie titled The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug on December 13th. Hopefully the movie will be just as good as the book! That will sum it all up for entertainment this week, tune back in next week for more of your favorite names in entertainment! Lets head over to our Birthday and sports correspondent Vince Scalise, Vince!

Vince: Thanks Laila! Now for sports.

-The Bears played the Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday. It was a close race to the finish line. A race in which the Bears tripped and lost. Seriously that was one of the most horrifying loses this season. It was 20 to 20 in overtime. Vikings kicker, Blair Walsh, attempted a 57 yard field goal and missed. Bears kicker, Robbie Gould, who I feel is the best kicker ever, then missed a 47 yard field goal. Then Adrian Peterson, the Vikings running back, took over and got Blair Walsh in scoring position. Walsh hit the 34 yard field goal to give the Vikings a 23-20 win. The Bears play the Dallas Cowboys this Monday.

Vince:That will do it for sports, now on to todays birthdays. Make sure you wish Jillian Kavalauskas, Olivia Cavazos, Jackie Liu, and Chloe Parks a happy birthday if you see them today!
Tune in next week for more sports and birthdays, from yours truly, Vince Scalise! Maddie, Dino back to you.
