If small yellow rust postules appear on the leaves, spray Tilt/ Shine 25EC @ 200 ml/200Lites of water/ acre Farmers are advised to practice interculture operations for moisture conservation and removal of weeds If aphid infestation reach 40-50% (observe 100 plant/ acre), spray the crop with Actara 26 WG 40 gram or 400 gm mesasystox 25 EC or Ragar 30 EC or Ekalux 25 EC or Malathion 50 EC or 600 mililitre Durban or coroban 20 EC using 80-125 litres of water depending upon the crop stage. Harvest early maturing varieties and cover the roots for ratooning protecting from frost The larvae of stock borer overwinters in stubbles and attack can be reduced by colecting stumps & destroy them; Avoid ratooning of such fields.
