Operation/Project Deployment Executive Description

Responsibilities Project Delivery/Client Engagement


Assist, manage and/or lead project team to successful execution of the project Assist and/or manage balancing internal vs. external activities and taking any needed steps to proactively identify, manage and mitigate risks Communicate project status, tailoring the message to the audience from executives to team members Create and manage the project schedule with timely updates and identify and mitigate schedule risks and issues Create reports and presentations using a variety of office productivity tools Define and manage resources, budget, project plans, scope, issues, track resource utilization, and hit key milestones for one or more projects Escalate any issues that can impact budget or deadline Establish project governance, structure and controlling processes in alignment with the PMO governance processes Facilitate clear definition and communication of project scope Improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies, gaining consensus on recommended solutions and quickly implementing them. Monitor work efforts, assign resources, delegate tasks and report progress to senior managers and various stakeholders Plan and coordinate all activities for the project to achieve overall project goals and objectives, providing direction to all members of the team Prioritize project risks and issues and drive to resolution Support project management offices and document all project-related assignments, issues and risks Update project status and generate project status and executive reports as required Manages and leads the project team to successful execution of the project

Requirements Basic Requirements


Bachelors Degree is required. An advanced degree is desirable. 5-10 years of Project Management experience
Experience participating as a member of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle, from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development and testing

Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate global partners and travel as neededboth domestically and internationally
Proven experience successfully managing a project team as part of a major conversion effort

Trading/trade system experience with hybrid business/technical Business Analyst background Direct experience leading large projects (>$1M) in an IT setting, software and/or infrastructure Strong schedule management skills to include establishing and managing cross-project and program interdependencies using related software tools: MS Project and etc

In-depth knowledge and experience managing all aspects of initiating, planning and managing the execution of projects including: Integration management; scope management; time/schedule management; cost management; quality management; risk/issue management; Human Resource management; communications management; procurement management Strong requirement gathering and analysis skills/methodology experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Yes or No) Ability to travel as may be required

Technical Competencies

Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visio Other industry tools (e.g., Workflow, Pega, etc.) ITIL, Six-Sigma or other Quality Management certification desirable

Ability to articulate the value proposition and the business impact of technology transformation Ability to conduct research and analyze project feasibility Ability to quickly learn new subjects and absorb new information and methodologies in a rapidly changing regulatory environment Ability to think on ones feet, offer unique perspectives and develop innovative solutions Desire to develop a deep understanding of client strategic direction, issues and project goals Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work independently and as an effective team member with client groups, taking on whatever role is necessary to achieve business objectives and enhance client relationships Excellent time management and organizational skills; the ability to manage conflicting priorities and multi-task effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to discuss complex ideas and develop project deliverables and participating in workshops with C-level executives Experience understanding and coordinating stakeholder objectives Knowledge of process reengineering methodologies and process flowcharting Strong capacity to plan and monitor projects in several iterations Strong presentation skills, extensive experience writing successful project proposals, experience planning and execution related projects, and demonstrated project management skills and experience Strong problem solving skills; ability to determine proper course or methodology without direction or supervision Strong quality and client service orientation
