Established in biomass heaters: The FGA parallel shaft conveyor drive series from the field of Renewable Energies of ABM Greiffenberger
ABM Greiffenberger takes advantage of the ExpoEnergy 2013 in Wels/Austria to present a newly developed parallel shaft gearbox of the FGA series.
The FGA 453 is the result of the consequent further development of the well-known FGA 423 and offers a big space between motor and pinion shaft. This way it can be placed at the conveyer-screw, space. U-shaped using minimal
Like in the entire FGA series, the FGA 453 uses an aluminum housing, which contributes to a reduction in weight. The helical gearing was reoptimized, in order to increase the driving torque to 450 Nm. This attributes to the high efficiency of the transmission as well as to the reduced noise emission.
The new energy saving flat drive FGA 453 with a torque of 450 Nm is suitable for many propulsions of biomass heaters
The high effectiveness results in reduced internal power losses and therefore the energy needed for the equipment is low.
At the same time the engineers of ABM Greiffenberger were able to reduce the number of parts in the gearbox, and to simplify the attachment of various motor options. For the assembly by the client, the attachments are offered with B14- or B5 flange as well as the hollow shaft arrangement with torque holdings. The direct attachment via the through borrings in the gear box is new. Further characteristics of the FGA 453 are the highly extended ability to withstand stress and the long life expectancy, for which all gears and geared motors of ABM Greiffenberger are known. It is not by chance that the ABM business field Renewable Energies, which is exhibiting at the ExpoEnergy Fair in Wels (Austria),
also supplies the manufacturers of wind turbines with efficient and extremely robust drives. With its performance and characteristics profile, the FGA 435 is suitable for many drives in biomass heaters. The typical applications include bunker charging and discharging, rotary valves, stoker screws as well as ash-removal. ABM Greiffenberger presents its biomass know-how at the ExpoEnergy Fair 2013 in Wels/Austria in the lobby of hall 20, booth number 1290.
