TRNi IMAGE POST: For those of you that have the Mercedes Benz A Class sold in your area. This is a shot of the original K-1 clutch (left) and the updated clutch (right). You cant see it in this picture but the area above the snap ring is not strong enough, and will bend outward. Allowing the snap ring to pop out. The new one is longer and stronger. I asked around the dealers if this was a common problem, but no one was talking. When I ordered the parts I got them right away. So my guess is that this, is the reason why all these transmissions are failing over here. The man from Japan Richard
