Step2LogintoOPUS,accesstheStudentCenterandacceptyourStaffordLoanaward(s).Youmayacceptthefull award(s)orreducetheaward(s)byacceptingaloweramount.TheinterestrateontheStaffordislowerthanona FederalDirectGraduatePLUSLoansoitisinyourbestinteresttoacceptthefullStaffordawardbeforeborrowingaGrad PLUS.(NOTE:IfyouveneverborrowedaDirectStaffordloanwhileenrolledatEmoryUniversityyouwillneedtosign theMPN,MasterPromissoryNote.SeeInstructionsforApplyinginthefinancingoptionssectionoftheFinancialAid website. Step4TheOfficeofFinancialAidwillreviewyourrequestandaideligibility.IfaideligibilityexistsyourPLUSLoan informationwillbeprovidedtotheU.S.DepartmentofEducationforloanconsideration.Aninitialawardofferdoesnot guaranteeloandisbursement,apositivecreditresultmustbereturnedpriortodisbursement.
