Background of study University of Muhammadiyah Malang as one private Universitas Malang that always tries to keep and develop the academic tradition related to Tri Darma perguruan Tinggi (education and teaching, research, or social relation). It involves many aspects, including the ehavior that have to e developed y students, lectures, and also all the college civilian, and the most important is the way to have a good achievement in academic. !nglish Department is one department of "aculty of Teacher Training and !ducation in University of Muhammadiyah Malang which has vision to hold the teaching learning process, research, and social relation in academic and ased on Islamic norm. In !nglish Department, the are elective courses, those are, #merican studies, $usiness !nglish, !%& (!nglish for %oung &eaner), and Translation. This is supposed to create the educated society and to produce the professional outputs that are ready to work. $usiness !nglish learns a out the application of !nglish in the working field, such as $usiness letter (in'uiry, order, and complain letter, etc), communication ethic y telephone or direct communication. In the ne(t level, $usiness !nglish, !%& (!nglish for %oung &eaner) and Translation.
