And so on for the other parts of the body in this sequence. If you look carefully you will see that the place is about 10 inches from the crown of the head towards the back. But if the position were 10 inches above the head, it would be the place of MahA bindu. This is simply a technicality to be noted at this point; the information becomes more useful later, when one becomes an ad anced sadhaka.
